Sana 39mm Eyelash Curler

My favourite eyelash curler! It’s handle is very springy, so you don’t need to use a lot of strength to curl your lashes. Just lightly press it and you get nice curls. The rubber pad is very soft too, so it won’t break your lashes. The width and the curve of the curler is just right for my eyes and it manage to grasps all those tiny little lashes that other curlers can’t quite curl.

I tested it out yesterday on how long the curl can last just by using the curler only and without any mascara on it, and I am proud to say that the curl lasted from 7.30am to approximately 10pm at night! I rub my eyes a few times throughout the day but it didn’t damage the curl at all! I’m so thrilled by this!

Now all I hope is that this curler of mine don’t break down and hopefully I can get someone to buy the refill rubber pads from me. Seems like neither Malaysia nor Singapore is selling the refill rubber pads, I think I’ll have to get it from Japan instead. Anyone care to help me get it?

Canmake Eyelash Essence

Using mascaras hurts the lashes, so I got myself a Canmake Lash Essence. It’s suppose to help grow, protect and nourish your lashes. After applying it for some time, my lashes feels much stronger and I think it grew a bit longer.

Oh, it can’t be used as a mascara primer, I’ve tested it out myself. After curling my lashes, I applied it onto my lashes, and within seconds, my lashes all became straight again! Maybe it’s just my lashes, so you girls can try it out. Let me know the outcome okay?

Once it is finished, might wanna try out The Face Shop’s or Skinfood’s eyelash essence.

Kate Mascara Base

I got myself a Kate Mascara Base and I’m loving it! I’m using my second bottle! It has a lot of fibers in it and really helps to lengthens your lashes to greater lengths. Helps to maintain curls whole day too. If your lashes are stubborn and won’t stay nicely curled after you put on mascara, you might want to give this base a try.

However, there’s something about it which I don’t quite like. It’s difficult to cover up the fibers. Just like Maybelline XXL, the base is quite difficult to be covered by mascara. A few layers will be needed in order to cover it up nicely and a lash comb is best to be around just in case it clumps a bit. By the way, it makes mascara a bit more difficult to remove than usual.

But judging on the lovely effect it gives when using it with lengthening mascara, it’s worth every single effort.
