Kate Dual Carat in GD-1

Dual Carat. What comes into your mind when you hear that 2 words? Bling bling! Shimmers! Sparkles! Well, this Dual Carat really contains lots of shimmers!

It has a light champagne-beige colour and a goldish-chocolate tone which I love! Upon application, you can only see it’s shimmers. You will need to do a few layers in order for the colour to show up. A bit of a put off but still it’s really pretty! I tested that if a primer or a base is applied before hand, the colour shows better.

Texture wise, a bit grainy, not as smooth but acceptable. I’m not very fussy with texture but I demand more of it’s staying power and also colour payoff.

PC Cover Synergy Long Lash Curl Mascara

Very cute pink packaging and the cheap price was what tempted me to buy this mascara online. The seller told me it’s made in Korea and is able to create lashes that are long and full of volume. She showed me a picture of her lashes with the mascara on and without the mascara on, and boy, was I shocked to see the difference! The lashes with the mascara on are so much longer than the one without. The mascara was around RM25 including postage, so it’s quite a steal. I bought it immediately.

The verdict of this mascara? Thumbs up! Without mascara base, there’s a lot of fibers that helps to lengthen the eyelashes but it doesn’t irritates the eyes. Lashes are really lengthen to the max! Volume wise is so-so, not that I really bother with it. Lashes stayed curled whole day, no clumps no smudge at all. Oh, and easy removal too.

With Kate mascara base, lashes are extended even more, but it clumps a bit (a lash separator or lash comb can fix it), and a little bit more difficult to remove. I love to pair this with Maybelline Turbo Boost mascara for the volume, and honestly, with this two msacara, you can’t go wrong!
