Beauty box subscriptions are the in thing now, at least in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong, based on blogs of the bloggers of those part of the world. Not sure if Malaysia will ever have this service, but for now we don’t and that’s a bit of a bummer.
Paris and Bee initiated the idea of us coming up with our own beauty box, which is basically putting in 5 items we love and would love others to try, and so here’s mine!
A mini review for items beginning from left to right.
Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa Massage Spa Mask with Essential Oil
My favourite hair mask ever! Rich yet light (oxymoron much?), it has never given me straw like hair even though I don’t coat my tips with this mask, and neither has it given me oily greasy scalp when I use a fair amount of it to massage my head. How did Shiseido ever manage to do concoct such a delightful hair mask like this, the question baffles me to no end. And yes, I love the cooling sensation (albeit a very slight one) whenever I use this.
Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa Extra Cleansing with Essential Oil
The shampoo counterpart of the above said hair mask, this one is also another winner in my books. It cleanses well but it is a tiny bit drying, but nothing that the hair mask couldn’t fix. I love how soft and light my hair feels whenever I use this with the hair mask, and how shiny my hair is! Even the boy agrees!
Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream
Need not say anything more about this eye cream, this is my 2nd jar and I am still loving it as much as before! Click on the title for a review!
Canmake Cream Cheek in 05 Sweet Apricot
This coral orange cream blush here is my travel buddy, and my to-go blush almost everyday. It’s a little warm, but has enough pink in it for me to use, so I think this is quite a wearable shade for most skintones
A little goes a long way, you can build up the layers if you like. An inexpensive lovely blush that performs really well, much better than Blood On.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
This is one of Elizabeth Arden’s iconic product, and it is rightfully so. It soothes my pair of really dry cracked heels and helps to relieve a bit of a dry chapped lips. It isn’t a product that could cure all ailments and skin issues, but with a handy tube like this which works to treat dry cuticles, chapped lips and dry heels and other parts of your body when you are on the go, it does save you quite a bit of travelling space. The only downside is that it doesn’t smell great, I think it stinks, like a dead lizard or something. But once you get used to it, it doesn’t bother you as much anymore. But still, I think the scent could be improved.
So here’s my little beauty box, I wonder what does the other ladies have in their own beauty box? You will have to read to find out!

Oh, this will be a plus for me because I am using Tsubaki now, and I love it. So your beauty box wouldn’t go to waste. I have also been eyeing that Elizabeth Arden hand cream for a year or two already!

Vanitytrove is available in Msia right? But that’s the only option we have and they’ve hiked up their price from RM50 to RM60 and I find that too steep to be spending every month
