Sorry for the lack of updates, can’t access my blog from the comfort of the bf’s house. Dumb dumb. Am typing from MS Word, save it, email it to my email address, go back to my home/ cyber cafe and then copy paste EVERYTHING into my blog. Tedious.
Lovely Rina of I nuovi emailed me a couple of days ago, saying the I nuovi sale has been extended to 1st May 2009! So hurry up and grab those stuff!
My recommendations: Metallogy eyeshadow in Bronze, but most of the colours are GORGEOUS!
Cheek Blush – squeeze tube form
Pressed pigment blusher – in a dome shaped pan (Connie reviewed this and the Cheek Blush)
Undereye concealer
False eyelashes – comes with a tube of strong glue! (check my previous post aye!)
Cleansing oil (Prettybeautiful loves this!)
Shiseido Maquillage 50%!
I don’t have any pictures or what so ever to go with this, but let me tell you, this sale can be a little deceiving. Yeah, sure that the 50% is on, but different places do it differently.
Jusco Shiseido Maquillage, which I think you should avoid, their rule is in order to be entitled for 50% off on selected MQ products, you must purchase one FULL PRICE item to be eligible!
But, Metrojaya Shiseido is another story. You can purchase the selected items for 50% without the need for a purchase of a full price product! Neat aye! The only letdown from this sales is… Only the older releases are qualified for 50%, so if you are eyeing on the Cheek Design or the new eye palettes or the new lippies, sorry to say 50% is not applicable. So be sure to ask the promoter first on what is on 50% and what’s not! I’m not sure how Parkson is selling this, but I guess it’s like Metrojaya.
If anyone knows, please let me know ya!
Some other little tidbits you shopaholics might enjoy
Maybelline Volume Express Cat Eyes Mascara Spiky Comb is available in Watsons. The ambassador is Hello Kitty! Not a fan of HK, so am skipping it totally!
Maybelline’s Mineral Liquid Foundation (squeeze tube) and Mineral Blush are here! I saw them in One Utama Jusco departmental store. But haven’t seen them in Guardian or Watsons yet
The Mineral Liquid Foundation has the same colour codes like Angelift Liquid Foundation if not mistaken, it didn’t really quite catch me eye to be honest. But the mineral blush, hm, they look nice! Available in 4 shades, Gentle Pink, Original Rose, Soft Mauve and True Peach. I think they have the same texture as the Mineral Powder foundation though I can’t be sure, since testers are not available at the moment
Enjoy shopping with the best deals around kay!
Have a super weekend!

wow thanks for sharing.
i wonder how the new volum’ express looks like
excited.
since almost all my previous experience with volum’ express has been great
i wonder if the mineral liquid foundation requires a base like other liquid foundation
and i cant wait to check their blushers out. how much ya? any ideas?

Shuu: Gosh, I think I better stay with goold old Turbo Boost then
Their liquid foundation never seem to wow me, and I tried to like the angelift, but didn’t quit work on me… their powders are much better i feel.
Lynn: No problem. Blush are about rm35.90? I think so.

Hi Plue
The cat eyes mascara is a bummer -_-”. It clumps easily (unless you apply it very lightly).
I tried the mineral liquid foundation and you made the right decision to skip those two, the foundation is too dry..
Hopefully the blushes are good ^_^

Ling: Oh dear, that’s bad. Shall stick to Metrojaya then!
Chian Li: If you want the new stuff, I’m afraid they aren’t on the 50% list
Puss: Yeah, I checked a bit and noticed they are more or less the same but with a different name in US, and they come in a different packaging! I think the blusher is much safer compared to the foundie, and I might just try that one out
Traclyn: I am bloody broke too.

Thanks for the heads up on Maybelline Minerals. I’ve been wondering if the mineral blushes were ever going to be launched here. And the liquid foundie is a pleasant surprise. Was about to purchase them thru’ Ryan’s drugstore/ulta sprees. Glad I didn’t! Would like to check out the new mascara too. I think the mineral line is the same as Mineral Power in the US. They just changed the name here. Why, it’s beyond me. I have absolutely the *worst* luck w/ Maybelline products – they all suck big time on me, but I’m willing to give the new stuff a go. Once again, thanx for the info!

I really really REALLY want to get the maquillage blusher and eye palettes but i’m sooooo broke from Stila’s sales!! >.<

I bought from Shiseido counter in Isetan, the Gardens, they also require to get a full size item.

Weird.. >.< I bought from Shiseido Maquillage @ Jusco Tmn Maluri but they didn’t require me to get any item at full price although there’s a sign saying so. Just ask the SA.. :p

Amelia: Oh wow! that’s nice! I did asked the SA, and the SA told me so. Don’t tell me even Jusco got different rules in different areas? =_= *slaps forehead*
