New Products For March!

Finally, I get to enjoy my weekend! At least half of it :P

Woke up on Saturday morning just to find out that I need to make a few calls for the Monday event. Grrrr! Can’t people just leave me alone for the weekend? >_<

Anyway, it upset me a little but not that much. Went to Sunway to get my brows done (way overdue!) and maybe… a little shopping? :P

Hauls to be shown later.

But for today’s post, I’m gonna show you girls new stuff!

Pictures are all taken from Cleo (Malaysia) March issue.

ZA Wide Eyes Mascara

Not out in Watson or Guardian yet, but I think it should be out by March. :) Their Cutie Curl mascara has been selling quite well, and now, a new comb mascara! Hm… it reminds me of MJ’s mascara, you know :P Giving that both ZA and MJ are under Shiseido’s wing, I think it maybe their tactic to help boost ZA’s sale, they haven’t been lauching any new makeup product for quite a bit.

Lash Beautifying Mascara Frame Plus

Wee! New mascara! I adore MJ’s previous version, Lash Expander Neo or known as Lash Beautifying mascara, so I do hope this is as good as it is! But I checked reviews around and saw the reviews were rather… 2 sided. Some said it made their eyelashes go droopy, while some said it didn’t. But overall, most reviewers said that MJ’s Lash Expander Neo is better than the latest one. Hm… I will still buy it just though, because it’s MJ! LOL! I also heard MJ’s Lash Expander Neo will be discontinued, so… I am rather sad. If you girls need to stock up, better do it quick! Right now, Sunway and Midvalley is OOS!

Blink Glitter Eyeliner

Silkygirl has been rather quiet lately, and when I saw this, I just go hm… What’s this? Anyway, it’s a liquid eyeliner with fine glitters. I don’t know how fine is fine, but since it’s still not on the racks, I’m feeling rather curious.

CelLucent Fairness

I’m grabbing this as soon as it comes out! LOl. The packaging caught my eye honestly :p I like the simplicity and the greenish jar, which screams “buy me!” all the way! LOL. Damn, I hope this won’t be too expensive. By the way, i love Total Effects too!

White Perfect pearl Liquid Foundation

I’ve never tried Loreal’s foundation, as I couldn’t get a good match. Maybe I didn’t know which to pick. >_< Anyway, I find this foundation's claim to be rather similar with Maybelline's AngelLift Liquid Foundation, as both claimed that they have this pearl thingy in it to boost radiance and etc etc etc. Might check this out when it's in stores, but i don't have much hope for this. Don't know why.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals

Traclyn alerted me about this (thanks darling!), and I thought I should keep this in mind. So I went to Sasa to give this a check, and I’m quite happy with the texture of the powder, quite silky and fine, and rather smooth too. :)

But the colours were either too dark or too yellow, horrible! >_< And with only 6 colours available, it's difficult to get the perfect colour match. So far, only the lightest colour, Very Light Ochre, fits me the most. :)

End of reporting, up next, hauls! :D

  1. So many new products and there’s a mineral makeup from Maybelline! However, since I am around NC15-20 and the lightest colour match your NC 30 skin so I guess I won’t get any colour match at all lol. Great post though =)

  2. Cleo March is out?? I need to go get it as well as Female Mag. Haha! Yay to Cleo readers~

The ZA mascara looks tempting. The mascara wand is like Maybelline Lash Stylist which I love so much. Too bad it’s not in Malaysia.

Thanks for acknowledging me anyways~ if you don’t mind link it to my site ler…at least your readers knows who I am. Haha! Hrmph…maybe I should test on the Maybelline Minerals too. I saw a lot of good reviews on it. A jar cost almost RM50. I emailed Watson when this range coming in but they have not replied. They are probably sorting it out.

  3. Whoa….Maybelline Minerals is FINALLY here?? Took them awhile, huh. Do they have the blushers? Coz I’m more interested in those. Hope the blusers don’t take forever to get here…

  4. Nikki: It's bad for the purse :P

Cyndi: It's slightly too fair for me, but still in acceptable range. It should be alright on you. I'm ranging myself from NC25-NC30, I have a strong feeling the MA who served me are not experienced enough >_<

Traclyn: Maybelline minerals, I saw there were mixed reviews, not sure, but I think it really depends on ppl's skin. :) And ur welcome! Not demanding at all, okay? :P

Puss: Nope, haven't seen the blushers here, only the foundation :(

  5. Hiya,

I’m wondering if bismuth causes breakouts? I used bare essentuals previously and broke out badly. People tell me that its the bismuth but I’ve not tried minerals without bismuth yet so I can’t compare.

I read that Maybelline minerals also contains bismuth. Now I’m itching to get it, but I’m not sure if bismuth was the culprit in BE :(

Jenn: Go try! When are you leaving?
