I’ll break down my hauls that I have accumulated from December(i know some of you have been wanting to read this! :p) and some juicy bits on The Bodyshop

The Vitamin C Skin Boost was my last purchase of 2008. I got it in Tawau at 20% off! Cool! I wonder if we get the same discounts here for this. Must find out!

The Moroccan Rose I bought on Jan 19. I had not plan for this purchase. Really. I finished work and thought of checking out TBS store to see if the Spring 09 Roseflower collection is in or not, and to my delight, I spotted this!

The Moroccan Rose smells fresh and with a hint of sweetness in it, just like fresh roses. My colleagues were liking it very much too! There were the usual EDT, body milk and bath and massage oil. I don’t quite remember seeing any body lotion or body puree, body mist or the shower gel, it might or might not come into TBS stores. I am keeping a close watch on this because I love the smell!

It’s really hard to get a good rose smell without that “aunty-smell”. I don’t have any rose smelling perfumes except for Chloe. It’s the best rose scent I’ve ever smelled! It’s sweet and fresh, with a tinge of honey and lychee in it For this Moroccan Rose, it’s really purely just fresh roses smell, I like it really much. But the EDT was meh. Reminded me of Casis Rose which I hate. >_< And yeah, after trying out the body butter in the store, my bf said my hand is extremely smooth that day. Roses are known for skin softening and whitening, it did soften and smoothen my hands (though my hands are not rough actually), I wonder will it whiten me? :P

I am actually liking this scent more than Cherry Blossom! I need to get another tub of this! By the way, the SA told me it is LE. And the Roseflower collection is still not in

Nearly slipped my mind. A new body butter flavour is in TBS stores right now, Raspberry. Don’t worry about the smell, it’s really light, nothing too sweet and heavy, unlike the Strawberry body butter.

And can anyone tell me the truth of Pink Grapefruit? Has it been DISCONTINUED??? I need to know!

EDM Baby Kabuki

Lumiere Veena Blush in Wild Rose

I have been itching to try out the baby kabuki and also the blushes in Lovingminerals.com, so I took the opportunity to order when Connie said she wanted one and there were discounts given!

The baby kabuki is small. Really really small. It’s about 5cm from the tip to the bottom. I think it will work well for putting blushes just solely on the apples of the cheek, but I think that the brush can be skipped. I can’t think of much usage for this! Lynn, from Lovingminerals said that this brush works well with the sample size that they sell, so if you have a lot of sample size stuff, maybe can try this brush, as the sample jar is so tiny! And Lynn is a really lovely lady!

I did not expect the blusher to be this much. I heard you only need really little amount of it for the colour to show, so I think this will last me quite a while! I’m really fond of the colour, a sweet pinkish brownish red colour, I think it’s a little dark from the looks of it, but with a light hand, this should be okay.

Blush porn!

I love blushers, as much as I love my eyeshadows I got a really good deal, that’s why I bought them. Hehe.

Shu’s M33E is one of their best seller. A sweet dolly pink, matte. And hooboy, it’s pigmented! No wonder the raves on Shu’s blushers!

Tranquil Pink is from the Rebirth 2008 Collection. It’s quite a pretty peach pink colour, and I think it can be dupe because the colour is rather similar to my other peach pink blushers. But then again, I got this cheap, so I am not complaning! Love the design on top, though it will disappear after a few uses.

Lunasol’s blusher. Tiny. Really tiny. It’s the tiniest blusher I’ve ever owned! True to it’s name, it’s a blue-tone rose pink colour. It has some blue-silver flecks in it, very pretty. The picture does no justice to it’s beauty at all! And just a quick note, the colour is darker than Shu’s M33E Shu is a bit more on the bright pink side, while Lunasol’s is leaning towards a mature rosey-pink kinda colour.

Stila’s Convertible Colour in Orchid. A deep dark plummy red colour! I like this colour the moment I saw it. I think it will give me a very pretty flush as long as I use it lightly. It’s just an awesome colour! Ah!

I think my camera is finally liking me! Colours are exactly the same as in real life! So pretty! Pretty pretty pretty!!!!! I can’t stop gushing because I have always wanted a Coffret D’or palette for ages! Ah! Look at the colours! So pretty! I heart them!

As Kanebo’s product, the quality is of course, good! And definitely better than Kate. But you can’t quite compare Kate, since it’s the drugstore version of Kanebo, right? it’s not fair if you compare. It’s like comparing apples to oranges!

Shiseido Maquillage Jewelling Palette in Noble Glamourous

I have the eyeshadow palette (gorgeous plum colour, I had to get it because of the plum colour!), Dramatical Gel Liner in RD632(again, I bought it is because it’s a lovely plummy red colour!) and a gold coloured clutch(not in photo).

The extra gel liner is GY831, which is a beautiful metallic blue colour. Too bad I didn’t fancy the eyeshadow palette as much, if not I would have bought it and break my purse!

This set is exactly the reason why I am paying more attention to Maquillage now. I like their gel liners and the eyeshadows, and am hoping their Spring 09 collection is as good or even better than this now!

Bought this when I was contemplating on whether to get the Baby Skin Base or not I think the SA talk to me too much and tempted me. Ah, I can never resist temptations! It’s pretty nice and smells good too. I think I am liking this more than my BB cream from Etude House just because of the smell. They have another version which contains mineral in it and provides higher SPF. I don’t need the SPF really since I use my trusty Biore sunblock.

And last but not least, a little gift from Bee! I never expected it!

I got this on the 5th, but never got the chance to take a picture and post it up. >_< And Bee, thanks for the lovely gift!
