I know I shouldn’t be blogging, because my PC isn’t normal yet, so say a BIG thank you to the bf who is lending me his lappie to blog. He actually hates it when I use his lappie, because it means he have to sit down and watch TV only!
I guess the Internet spoiled the both of us! LOL.
As the title implies, here’s my May hauls. A lot of lovely stuff!
First and foremost, The Body Shop stuff!
I can’t thank Bee enough for helping me buy most of the items! Thank you very much!
The makeup case which is freaking awesome! Cheap too! Cost only RM54 or so (I didn’t buy it during the extra 10% period) when the normal price is close to RM200? I think. I bought this due to the Mango body butter
I love the scent! It came with a Divide & Multiply mini mascara, a mini Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream, and two mini Aromatheraphy Total Energy Body Wash and Body Gel. The silvery greyish black clutch consist of a mini Total Energy Energy Body Gel, mini size Aloe Soothing Day & Night Cream, mini size Hi-Shine Lip Treatment, a mini tube of mascara (don’t remember the name) and Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. Sold for RM35.10 because it was on sales! Haha.
Whatever that’s not mention was bought by Bee (she’s such a darling!), except the Mango Shower Gel and Pink Grapefruit Body Puree. Uber cheap both the shower gels, 50% plues another 10% off the normal price! And the body puree too! Smells heavenly! And I bought 3 mask, Blue Corn, Honey Oat and Aloe restorative. Shall be reviewing them in one or 2 weeks time! And I got the lip and cheek stain too! Bronzy Glimmer the name
Up next, brushes and it’s protective guards!
Lumiere travelling brush set is just SO LOVERLY! (Sorry Kahani & Syen, I just had to use the name!) I love it more than my Ecotools set. So soft and silky! And it’s quite dense and very well made! I just didn’t like the button attached to it as a mean to close the brush roll, because it’s tight and someday, the brush roll will be torn because it takes a quite a bit of effort to open the brush roll and not to mention, the brush roll is rather soft. Bought it from Lovingminerals.com, but I think it’s OOS right now. I hope they are able to get these again someday because it’s worth the moolah!
I bought a backup for my ELF Studio Powder Brush and Complexion Brush. I love the Complexion brush a little bit more than the Powder brush as it is not scratchy or pokey. Powder brush is a little pokey when I stipple foundation on, but the finish is AWESOME! A great dupe for MAC 187 for the price and finish, but not so much for the softness. MAC 187 doesn’t poke me
This does.
The Brush Guard from CS is the SAME as The Brush Guard that Enkore talked about. To me, it is. Packaging and everything is the same
It’s only cheaper by what, $0.50? If I remember correctly.
And oh, I got those C brushes from ELF which Kahani was talking about. Have yet to try it, but I guess it should work fine.
Coastal Scents Smacks Lipgloss. Very tiny. The moment I saw it, I was like, OH MY GOD. This is small! But the colours are pretty. The light peach pink colour is Strut In Nude and the other mauve plum with shimmers is Mega Mauve. Packaging is quite simple, with a metallic cap. It’s a little sticky without much scent, and I notice while it does gives your lips a nice shine, it settles into the fine lines a little.
Shall give a proper review later.
Makeup items and some skincare stuff
My HG serum, Neutrogena Fine Fairness is here! Retailing at RM79.90 in Watsons and Guardians. Grab them before it goes OOS! I know Midvalley Watsons is OOS currently! A MUST BUY! This is damn good!!!!! Click here to read my review!
I got ELF eyeliner and shadowstick in Green Moss. A very lovely shade! Thanks to Connie who recommended me!
Stocked up on Shills Cherry Blossom BB Cream. Me love this! Click here to read!
And me have the ELF’s dupe of Nars blusher/ bronzer duo. Quite sturdy and a little bulky, but it contains a lot of product
Lush soaps! So small! I was expecting it to be bigger
I got Charcoal Face Soap and Queens of Heart soap. The rose scent is just lovely! Very rosey but fresh! And a oat soap from an online shop. A nice scent from it, but it’s a soapy kind of scent, instead of oats.
I finally got my hands on Shiseido MQ Cheek Design in Pink, I can’t remember the code. It’s either 80 or 70. But it’s pink. My sister asked me to get it because it is just wonderful. Lovely pink with shimmers but not OTT. And it’s lasting! I nab 2 lipgloss from Shiseido MQ too, can’t remember the names of it, but one is liquid lipstick that oozes out like Maybelline Watershine Essence, and another typical lipgloss with a spatula applicator.
And because of Kimoko, I bought Sasa HD Foundation! Sasa is selling it for RM39.90 until 14th June. After that, it’s RM55.90. It covers quite well though the coverage isn’t that high, but it’s nice to blend and everything. Just tested it so I can’t really reviewed it. Click here to read Kimoko’s thought on the foundation! She’s a lovely lovely lady! Very likeable!
Etude House’s set of Moist Hold which consists of cleanser, toner and emulsion. The bf got it for me
The other 3 items, Goodbye Dark Circles eye mask, Fresh Cherry Blusher Duo, and Fresh Cherry Lip Tint in Red I bought them myself. Fresh Cherry Blusher Duo is pigmented and nice to blend. It has got quite strong staying power too! Izzy dear loves it! And Jen of A Beautyful Sentiment adores this lip tint! Uber lovely I tell ya! I love this product too! Click here to read Jen’s view.
Last but not least…
Etude House Passport! You can use this at ANY counters in Malaysia. You can get a stamp for every purchases above RM30.
Sweet huh?
Basically that’s all for May, but I think I have left out my Canmake blusher in PW20. It’s an awesome cool tone pink which is gorgeous! I’d say some of Canmake blushers (not the duos) are pigmented and are comparable to Shu Uemura’s blushers. They stay on very well even with water running and even with some rubbings! And I forgot to show you my crazy collection of magazines I bought in May. >_<
I gotta go. The bf is killing me for hogging his laptop.
See, that’s why I said I won’t be able to blog as I please at the moment.
I’ll be back! *quoted from John Connor of Terminator Salvation*

WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should take pics of the vanity case!

Tsuze: I bought this off from Lowyat.net from a seller call WhiteLady.
I saw it selling in One Utama’s InQBox (a shop) but at a high price
Hanna: Usually makeup is somewhat this amount, or more. It’s pretty hard to say as some months I don’t buy or some months I buy alot. And yes, skincare stuff are constantly being bought. Tee hee. Especially masks. But not last month though.

Puss: The blogging stops a bit, but not shopping! LOL. The Neutrogena serums works very very very well for me. It’s the only one serum that I can see BIG difference as compared to other serums. The price isn’t that friendly, but for me it’s well worth it. Aiyo! Sasa HD din work well? I will have to test it out. >_< But the coverage is pretty ok, skin looks good. I dowanna be oily!
Eru: Thanks dear! EH are cute!
Lynn: I need to cut down on spending. I must. Haha. The BB will last me quite a bit, but since I use a brush, I use more BB cream than usual. >_< Haiz. Need backups!

Mell: I am not sure where else can we get retractable brushes, as we have limited choices in stores. Perhaps you can try Ecotools or Coastal Scents
