The Weekday Hauls

Bookmark and Share

I usually have dinner and then plonk myself in a shopping mall :P

Tee hee. I do it maybe 2 or 3 times a week. It’s to de-stress myself.

I got myself a very comfy pair of ballet flats! It’s a greenish-brown colour, with a very cute little flower at the sides. Cute no? And I got them off at 30% :D I love bargain purchases!

Then on Thursday, I head to Sunway to Shu Uemura to get my brows done. I never will go to any other places to get my brows done simply because I love Selina’s service. And I just don’t know why I got myself that blusher (P orange 58D). But I picked it up simple because it’s a lovely shade despite that it looks dark and kinda orange on the pan. It’s actually a pretty warm reddish orange tone which gives you a i’ve-been-to-the-beach look. :) By the way, this shade has been discontinued. :(

And then yesterday I was at 1U, and damn! I am kicking myself for not going to Stila! Bee said they are restocking! Gah!!!!! Should I go today? Hm…

And look at the red purse! Pretty? I got them at RM19.90! 70% off original price! It’s like so cheap! And it’s pretty! I just love it! And those round spiral thingies, they are hair bands! I got them at RM2.90 for 2 in Deeper & Harder. Pretty nice candy colours!

Next month I need to get my skincare. Most of them are running out. Bleh.

What eyecreams and toners are good? Let me know!

  1. Wonderful hauls you got there! The Shu blush looks scary on pan but I understand the “I just got back from the beach glow” I’m sure it’ll look fab on your skin tone :)

Nikki: Thanks! The flats are comfy!!! And it’s summer! Not that Malaysia has any other weather, but it’s nice to get the sunny look without going to the beach :P

Hanna: I haven’t been there for ages, lol. Not much of my “kakis” are there, and not much time for forumming anymore since working :) Shu don’t use wax, they pluck and shave a little, depending on your brows. :)

  5. But u still find time to blog.;) I kinda like reading ur reviews. It’s refreshing to know that a beauty addict like u go for affordable products, which nonetheless are equally good. ( I can afford high end products all the time)

OMG they pluck? Now I’m kinda scared. It is painful? I only let my eyebrow done once; @ Benefit Brow Bar. They waxed.

I just secured a (free) appoinment at Shu Uemura. Wish me luck! =)

Hanna: I schedule my blogs way ahead of time :) Usually I write them during weekends, otherwise I dun have time. I can’t afford high end all the time, and am not willing to splurge each time on high end stuff either. LOL.

Shu pluck, but it’s not painful, but then again, it depends on how much pain you can endure. To me, it felt like quick prick of needle? Nothing much actually. Tee hee. Am used to it already.

I hope Shu’s service will be good for ya!

  6. Hopefully! Though waxing is painful, I only feel the pain in seconds. But I never experience plucking. My appoinment will b @ Pavilion kiosk. Perhaps I’ll blog about it in my blog. =)

Hanna: Tee hee! Good luck with it! But Shu’s SA are quite well trained, only the seniors are allowed to do brow grooming service if not mistaken :) I’ll go read about it in your blog! Remember to blog aye! :D

  7. Hi Plue. So I finally went to do my complementary brow-trimming at SU in Pavilion KL. Hmmm sorry girl, dont think it’s my cup of tea. Maybe it was me who’s unlucky? =( Please read my post about it in my blog. But it’s still worth trying.

Hanna: read about it, kinda feel sorry for you. I never had any problems like that in Sunway Shu, so maybe it as just unlucky that you encounter an idiotic SA? Sometimes because it’s complimentary, some SAs just don’t bother with customer service. :)

  8. Hehe yeah perhaps. Thank God it was complementary. I’m just to malas to report a complain whatnot. Btw thanks 4 readin my blogs, I’m really new at beauty bloggin. So any comment is much appreciated! =D)
