Was clearing my stash to make way for the new stuff when I saw this foundation.

Avon True Luminous Liquid Foundation in Beige Ochre

Hm, I think I’ve only used this once? Or twice?

Why did it ever went into the Cold Chamber?

I gave it a good shake, squirt some onto my hand and…

To my horror! Look at this!

Orange to the max! And it’s sooooo dark!!

I don’t care how luminous this foundation is or how featherly like the texture is, but this is so orange-y that it is IMPOSSIBLE to blend in perfectly with my skin which would look invisible.

Say hello to the trash bin, you orange foundie!

Have you girls got an orange foundation too? Tee hee!

I hate to say it, but that actually looks like it would match my skin pretty well. My skintone is so hard to match :(

Try diluting the shade with a moisturizer

Reminds me of Revlon Colorstay foundies. Orange galore.

I bought EH pore base thingie…. and that one was too fair and patchy. Look like can join the pontianak brigade if put too much. :P Or maybe I got a bad batch… since it kinda smells like socks and peaches.

I’m so pale that all most foundation, esp drugstore ones, make me look orange hehe. Maybe you can try and mix it with a moisturizer or paler foundation?

aiya! don’t throw ma. it may come in handy ONE day? you know… when you suddenly try fake-tanning and turned orange then you’d probably need an orange foundation? Lol :p

Haha, maybe you kept it for too long. I find that my old foundations will oxidise with time and the colour in the bottle changes…

Sherry: Foundation being too fair is very common, happens to me too!

Mika-chan: Orange tones would suit you? It’s my first time hearing actually! Maybe Bobbi Brown’s foundie can help? Got a pretty wide range they have~

Atelier Gal: Even if I dilute it, the orange cast is still there :(

Sue: Nah, dowan la. My existing foundie works fine now. Mix liao nanti become problem :P

Irene: I had never tried Revlon Colorstay though :P EH pore base? Is it the peach one? I thought was discon! That one you need to use really little and only on pore areas, whole face usually goes on patchy and a bit too fair :(

Gio: My existing foundie now are just the right shade so I can’t really mix. Sigh. Lucky it’s not expensive :P

Milktea: Their other stuff is pretty good though, especially lip products :)

Connie: I’ll never be tan! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I think i’d look weird!

Fiona: That maybe the case… hm…
