I just got the same thing today but in Almond shade. It blends really well to my skin that when I ask my co-worker if they think I have a foundation on my skin they all said none, so I think it's ok. I like it. Maybe you just got the wrong shade, you need to test foundies below your cheek and see if it matches the color of your neck. ^^ Hi!
