What To Do With Unused Toner, Makeup Remover & Cotton Pads?

Bookmark and Share

Makeup removers that’s too oily, doesn’t remove makeup well, it stings, or whatever it is, you just can’t give yourself a good reason to love it and to finish using it.

It stays on your dressing table. Or being chuck into the cold, dark closet…

Toners that don’t suit you. Too thick, too oily, too watery, did nothing for your skin, it stings… You just want to throw it.

Cotton pads that are too thin, splits too easily, too rough… Whatever it is, you hate it. Not using it anymore.

But you hate to see them rot away. You don’t want to waste them. What do you do?

I have a nifty little trick to share with all of you!

You know those gummy-gluey tags that you always pull off and the sticky residue that is so difficult to remove?

Well, get ready your unwanted makeup remover, your unwanted cotton pads and unwanted toner. These will be in handy. :D

Pour some of the makeup remover onto the cotton pad, and gently rub on the residue’s surface. After a while, it will come off, minus the stickiness. But it’s oily! Fret not, because you can remove it with some toner! Pour some onto a clean cotton pad, and cleanse the surface. It will be clean and oil free!

Wonderful? Here’s more!

The gel liner brush you use always becomes hard, because you don’t have time to wash it everytime you use it. You need to clean your eyeshadow brushes but you don’t want to wash them because the lack of time, you want to clean your lip brush because you think it’s icky but lazy to wash… And etc… you get the picture right? So, pour some makeup remover onto the cotton pad, and gently swipe it over your brushes. If you think it’s not clean enough, just repeat the process. And to sanitize it, pour a little toner onto the cotton pad and swipe the brushes. Then finally clean it with a dry and clean cotton pad. There you go, a quick fix for cleaning your brushes!

You can also use cotton pad that has makeup remover or toner to clean your eyelash curler too :)

And to take it further, you can clean those tiny areas of your table, drawers, boxes, anywhere you like with cotton pads soaked with the toner :)

Or put some toner into a spritzer bottle and use it as a air freshener! Of course, if it smells good :P

Toner that is too thick or oily for your face? Apply it on your hands, elbows, knees and heels for the added lightweight moisture! Provided you are not sensitive to it :)

Nice tips eh? :D That’s how I clear stuff that I don’t use or hate!

Do you have any tips to share? ^_^

Update: Courtesy of J, she mentions that she puts the toner into a spray bottle and spray on the back to keep back-nes away!
