Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender Hand Therapy

Hello people!

I know I have slowing down on reviews and stuff lately, because workload is just crazy! Well, it isn’t crazy, but enough to drive me nuts with all the manual trackings and stuff. Bleh, October was surely an emo month for me. When it hits January 2010, I think I’ll be even busier, given that my company is expanding and getting in more business, so, you will see me blog much lesser :(

But still, I will still try my best to write as often as I can, but don’t hate me or leave my blog, okay? Pweeety please?

LOL.

Recently I have started pampering my hand by applying hand cream after every wash and also whenever I feel it’s dry and is crying for moisture.

I do love TBS’ Spa Wisdom Hand & Foot Butter, but I don’t want to lug such a big tub around whenever I go! That’s madness (please agree with me?). So I need something that’s light, portable and does the job well.

And I remembered a lovely lovely gift, from a dear friend.

She gave me a Crab Tree & Evelyn hand cream for last year’s Christmas and I never use it until lately. I never took good care of my hand until last month or so. >_<

I don’t have much to ask when it comes to hand creams, as long as it moisturizes without adding a heavy oily film and a nice scent, I’m a happy camper.

This fits everything that I’ve ever wanted in a hand cream.

It’s lightweight, it’s portable, it’s lavender scented (though it took me a while to get used to), not oily or greasy, and moisturizes my hand pretty well. I can use this and immediately do my paper work, write stuff or do other things which normally I don’t do right after applying lotion/ creams on my hand, but this one is just nice.

Absorption rate is a little slower, if I must complain compared to TBS Hand & Foot Butter, but really, the difference is very minimal unless you time yourself. Also, if I must complain, that when I open the cap, it sometimes overflow with cream without me squeezing it. >_< But that’s okay, I use the extras on my elbows. Talk about pampering me-self.

This is my first Crabtree & Evelyn product and I don’t know if I am buying anything else from them, but hm, maybe the Rosewater version of hand cream? I just might!

But I might have to wait for a bit more, because TBS is way too huge to finish using it and I have another tube of hand cream waiting for me to open. >_<

Before I go busy with my work and drool all over Shin Woo *hearts*, here’s the ingredient list.

Tried anything new lately? Do share! :D

aww…glad you found it useful – actually, the tube can cause it to overflow sometimes if it’s been squeezed around in the bag. I usually keep mine together with my other makeup in a small pouch to protect it.. :D

I have the rose one. it smells heavenly! quite moisturising for me. But it’s very pricey for the size and amount that you’re getting.

Might try Loccitane’s next time :)
