It has been ages since I last wrote a review. Am sorry for the long absence on reviews, but I haven’t been spending much time trying out new stuff as I should.

Anyway, I did manage to try out something from the recent haul I made, and boy, I am so glad I made the purchase!

Which one is it?

Tee hee!

None other than…

The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Honey & Beeswax Hand & Foot Butter!

Me really likey this!

Read on aye!

It’s a glass jar full with wonderful creaminess with yummy-licious scent! I am dead serious on this!

The picture does no justice to how creamy, how lush, how smooth the cream is, well really, it’s does feel like butter! Buttery smooth yum yum! LOL!

True to it’s name, this is quite a lovely hand and foot butter. It’s not like the other TBS Body Butters, which is softer, a little runnier and a little bit more fluffier, I hope you get what I mean, this one is firm but yet soft and creamy.

You don’t need a lot for your hands or your feet, as this is quite moisturizing, minus the oily, sticky and greasy part. I can walk without needing slippers after using this butter on my heels. You see, normally my heels would feel very oily and greasy if I use body butters and if I walked on marbled tiles, I am more prone to falling down.

However, with this, I don’t face this problem anymore. The product gets absorb real fast, leaving hand and feet smooth and soft. I like it even better because of it warm scent which relaxes me totally and of course, because it was not greasy at all. It soothes the dry patches on my left hand very well. And best of all, I wake up in the morning finding my hands really nice and soft! And my heels smoother than the night before too!

Ingredients:

Water (Solvent/Diluent), Glycerin (Humectant), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Myristyl Myristate (Emollient), Lanolin (Emollient), Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) (Skin-Conditioning Agent/Emollient), C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate (Emulsifier), PEG-100 Stearate (Surfactant), Dimethicone (Skin Conditioning Agent), Panthenol (Skin/Hair Conditioning Agent), Beeswax (Emulsifier/Emollient), Honey (Natural Additive), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Ximenia Americana Seed Oil (Emollient), Fragrance (Fragrance), Methylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Allantoin (Skin Soothing Agent), Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier), Lactic Acid (Skin Conditioning Agent), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Benzyl Salicylate (Fragrance Ingredient), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (Fragrance Ingredient), Talc (Absorbent/Bulking Agent), Caramel (Colour), Iron Oxides (Colour).

I guess the shea butter, beeswax honey and Ximenia oil really does help to moisturise and condition the skin while softening the skin.

I think the only problem is that this jar doesn’t travel well and of course, hygiene issues. It’ll be great if it comes with a spatula so that I can scoop a small amount each time I use without me dipping my fingers in it. But then, this factor doesn’t bother me as much because I use it alone and I don’t share. Well, if I really wanted to, I can just go buy a cheap spatula and use you know :) So that’s something to consider for those who value hygiene issues and are planning to share this with family members.

It’ll be nice too, if this comes in a small tube which I can carry around whenever I travel or just put it inside my bag and off I go for work. Lighter and not as bulky, don’t you think?

But all in all, I love this hand and feet butter, simply because it does what I want and it smells great! I don’t mind paying full retail price for it! Now, I wonder if the Spa Wisdom Africa Shea Butter & Sesame Oil Body Balm is as gorgeous as this and not as oily/ greasy as their other body butters! If it is, I am buying it immediately!

I should be reviewing the African Spa Wisdom Body Scrub soon. Hehe.

I think I am a total convert of TBS Spa Wisdom :D

Ah this sounds yummy! Don’t like that it contains lanolin though. But it is still worth a try. I like TBS body butters. And the scents! Delish!
