You girls might have known this long time, but well, I will still write about it!

My Beauty Diary mask
My Beauty Diary, or known as 我的美丽日记, is very popular in Taiwan right now. It’s pretty cheap over there, but when come into Malaysia, my god! The price tag went sky high!
This mask is a competitor of My Scheming Beauty aka 我的心机面膜/心机美人. My Beauty Diary is a little more expensive than My Scheming Beauty because it is advertise heavily in magazines, while My Scheming Beauty don’t have any advertisement on magazines. At least that’s what I see from my own stack of Taiwan magazines.
This mask is only available in Guardian, selling at RM16.90 for a pack. Each pack contains 2 pieces of the sheet mask. I myself find that this is a little pricey because I can get really cheap price by buying it online. >_<
Another item that pop into Guardian just a week ago is a new item from Garnier. What amazes me was that this item is sold in the market almost around the same time as in Taiwan! Cool eh?
Let me introduce you to the latest addition of the Garnier family!
This is sold in Guardian for now, and I think it will be in Watsons soon. Sold at RM24.90, I think the price isn’t too bad. I quite enjoy the slightly cooling sensation when I gently roll the pen over my eyes. It’s quite lightweight so I doubt millia seeds will pop up. However, given that this is pretty light, those who have really dry eyes won’t be getting enough moisture from this.
This pen-like eye cream is meant to reduce dark circles and puffiness, I haven’t seen much result for dark circles though I have been using it for a few days, so I will wait a bit more before doing a review on this.
I think I want bring this around with me in my bag and just roll it over my eyes whenever I fee like, since it doesn’t leak and is travel friendly. I stare into the PC so much nowadays that I think my eyes deserves a little more TLC, don’t you think?
If they can come up with eye cream put into a a pen with a roller that massages the eyes as you roll it over, why don’t they have something similar for the lips? Lips need some massaging too, to give you a really nice, soft pink pout!
One more new item on the shelf in Watsons and Guardian is Revlon’s Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup foundation and primer. I tested both items and here’s a quick review.
The primer goes on smooth and leaves your skin matte. Really matte. It has this light fruity/ citrus smell which is quite nice. I think it contains sillicone but I can’t be sure. It goes on transparent and provides absolutely no coverage.
For the foundation, I tested Light Medium on the back of my hand. It is white in colour, with little black beads and when gently pat onto the skin, it transforms into a goldenish brown colour! Amazing! It goes on smooth, not oily and leaves the skin matte. However, I notice it did not do much for my skin. It didn’t brighten up nor provide much coverage. >_<
I tested using it after the primer and solely using the foundation alone, but honestly, I find that there isn’t much of a difference. Maybe I should buy it and use on my face instead
Then I can review it better.
Retailling at RM55 for the primer, and RM59 for the foundation, I think it’s slightly expensive because I think it didn’t really perform that well. However, I might buy the foundation and give it a try in the future. I’m waiting for the discounts!
Hope you have enjoyed the little news bit!

Hi Plue, that’s the first time I saw the product from Garnier.
About the lip roller, Blistex have the rolling kind of lipgloss! It’s very liquidy and it’s for very chapped lips!
Try to search it maybe you have it there
I love the feeling of the roller rolling on my lips too

The Garnier Brightening Eye Roller is already available in Watson. I bought it a week ago. It does help in reducing puffiness but dark eye circles, still waiting for it.

I bought both the revlon primer and foundation, and i liked the primer better. it really does make a difference when i used it under foundation. however, i think the foundation is very average. i like medium coverage so this foundation didn’t give me that coverage. it also oxidised after a few hours on my skin. i didn’t like that! if u like revlon foundation with medium coverage, you’re better off with the colorstay foundation with softlex. now that’s an awesome drugstore foundation. and yes, both the primer and foundation are so overpriced!!

I bought the foundation :p I tried it on my face and was immediately sold. Gah! haha. but I haven’t tried it for a full day yet. I’m so sick of finding a good foundation match! This will have to do

love yr ‘pharmacy newsletter’. hehe i havent been to any big watsons for a while. i saw the garnier pen too, but ended up buying another bio essence eye gel. lol. and i saw the mask online and in guardian, and oh boi, the prices vary so much!!!

Nikki: It might arrive your shores later. I have’t heard of Blistex! I should go see, but I doubt it’s here. I also go look at a whole lot of things when I am in the pharmacy!
Traclyn: Same here, don’t see the effect on dark circles much, but puffiness got a more significant effect. Maybe it’s cuz of the caffeine.
Puss: I heard so much about softlex! But I am not quite a foundation person, I skip it most of the time
I think I shall try the primer again! But hm, would it be better for me to stick with MJ and Etude House primer? I haven’t finish those yet!

Connie: so fast! let me know how is it!
pretty: thankiez! I go into pharmacies every once in a while
hehe~ Bio essence good ah? I never use it before. The mask in Guardian very overprice lor! >_< Sien. Wait for discount then buy!

the garnier pen is so much cheaper in m’sia compared to singapore! no fair
i saw the revlon here as well and it’s quite cute the way it changes colour, but it’s kind of pricy as well as compared to US prices.

Justina: We have, but in certain Watson stores. I saw Blistex in Watson Metro Prima in Kepong
Chian Li: Yeah! magic! But ah, I feel it’s kinda useless in giving me the coverage i want
feeyona: LOL! Really? I suppose some stuff are cheaper here than in SG, but u girls got a few brands we don’t have
Revlon’s new foundation isn’t too bad, but it just doesn’t interest me as much as other stuff
And yes, quite pricey~

Nea,
Parado is in Guardians. Retailing around RM23-25 for approx 100-160ml. I am not too sure.
I check quite a bit, but haven’t found anything that’s from Parado other than the nail polish, but I might have missed them out.
Hope the info isn’t too late!
