Remember the 2 reviews I’ve done on facial scrubs?
Now here’s another one!
And it’s my favourite among all 3!
Check it out why me heart it so much! ^_^
Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask
Look at the yucky, dirty black colour. Seems awful right? But I tell you, it does a fabulous job in giving your face a good scrub!
Skinfood is a Korean brand which I think is among the first to have open a shop in Malaysia, followed by Missha and now Etude House. I am hoping to see more Korean shops opening up here!
Back to my lovely scrub. I got this as a present from my sister, and she definitely made a good choice!
The scrub smells of black sesame, which you either love it or hate it. I find it quite strong for the first few times, but as I got used to it, well, I find myself loving it!
It’s in a paste form, with black particles which I think it’s black sesame grains. I usually cleanse my face with a mild cleanser, think Mandom Deep Sea Current Facial Wash or Pure & Mild Brightening Cleansing Foam, then I proceed with picking up a good amount of the scrub and slowly massage it all over my face.
I chose to use my morning cleanser as it is mild and not as strong as my night cleansers (Neutrogena Deep Clean or Clean & Clear Daily Pore Cleanser), so when I use the scrub I won’t be irritating my skin too much.
When I use this, you can feel slight heat. The heat is warm and fuzzy and it’s very comfortable on the face. I leave this on for 3 to 5 minutes like what the instruction said and rinse off with water. Once done, face is instantly brighter and smoother! It doesn’t leave your skin tight or dry and the effect of your skin being smooth can last for days. I did my recent scrub on Sunday, and till now, my skin still very smooth! No bumps, no lumps, no mask or extra care! Good right?
It does clear up a little of the blackheads and whiteheads, but I am not really bothered by this. I love this for the fact that it does it’s job as a scrub really well, and to clear off blackheads and whiteheads is not the scrub’s job alone.
And it’s not really that expensive, since a tub can last quite a while!
I’m eyeing on the Black Sugar and White Rice scrub next! Any reviews?
Do share okay?

Hey, I bought this last week and used once, but my skin isn't suitable for it. The next thing I did… is throw this bottle on buy & sell listing: http://www.mygaragedeals.com/detail.php?id=878
