A Pampering Treat For The Body

I got a special me time just for myself. In fact, I have it everyday!

When I said a “me” time, it means I am off doing anything I fancy without anyone else around me. To me, “me” time means spending time with yourself, and yourself alone.

It’s blissful actually. :)

So other than telling you a little bit about my “me” time, I shall be doing some sort of a review too. :D 2 birds killed with one stone! Great ya?

My “me” time is my bathing time. Duh. Of course I bath alone. LOL. The time where I do my thinking, day dream and pamper myself like a real princess! If only I can have a bath tub to do my bubble baths… :(

Anyway, I like to give myself a good scrub top-down 3 times a week. :D Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Yeah, I got a schedule to adhere to!

I love my Laneige Strawberry Yoghurt Peeling Gel more than ever! It’s gentle but does the job well. I guess it sometimes pays to pay extra for a good product. :)

My current favourite for body scrub is Garnier BodyLight Brightening Exfoliating Scrub. Lovely! The scrub is slightly rough, but it’s not harsh. It turns whitish as you scrub. Once rinsed off, skin is smooth, with a nice light fresh lemon scent! I didn’t need a lot of this, I squirted only 4 times of product approximately a 50 cent coin for the whole body.

And then we proceed to shower gel (if I didn’t do my scrubs) and then body butter.

My new love!

The shower gel, retails at RM45, but I got it for only RM10. All thanks to the RM35 voucher! :D It’s like any other shower gel, nothing to shout about. I bought it mainly because of the scent. It smells like fresh roses with a slight hint of lemon or some citrus fruit in it. The smell is very much lighter than the body butter.

The body butter, which I have 2 tubs and manage to make my sister buy one, is an absolute HG material! It smells fresh roses, without much sweetness in it. It’s fresh and just nice for people who don’t like heavy rose smell like me. :D

It’s not as oily as my Pink Grapefruit and Strawberry body butter. I checked with the SA and they told me the body butter has been reformulated, hence it’s less sticky and less oily. It’s quite moisturizing and it sure does makes my skin soft and smooth. :D It’s worth buying, though it’s RM65. A little expensive, but one tub goes a long way!

That’s for body. I actually pamper my hair and apply hair mask too, but I shall save it for another day. :D And of course, with a good scrub on the face, I always follow up with a mask. Another story to be told eh?

Do you girls have any special “me” time? Please do share!

Have a good weekend everyone!

I’m off to my hometown and go on a Kim Hyun Joong and Lee Min Ho craze!

Tralalalalalala~

  7. Hello Anonymous,

The scent from the body butter, hm… I never take note, but I reckon around 2 hours if you move around? I usually apply them before bedtime, and I still can smell it when I wake up~

The Cherry Blossom and Moroccan Rose is ok to use during the day, not very oily. But I think for the older ones, best not, as it’s a little more oily and sticky :)

Do drop by anytime soon ya! :)

  9. Hi there! It's quite lasting, but of course, the smells is pretty much lighter than before you apply it, but you can still smell hints of roses :) Perfect wake me up smell!

I don't have any rose body lotion, sad to say, as most of them I find them aunty. Perhaps you can try loccitane, or Chloe, if you can, maybe Bath & Body Works? I've heard they have pretty good rose smelling lotions :)
