I am fast becoming a bathing junkie. I mean, buying bathing products. Soaps. Shower gels. Shower foams. Shower creams. Body scrubs. As long as it is scented and soothes the tired soul. I buy. Without any much hesitation.

Can anyone suggest me nice smelling body stuff? I want them! LOL!

I just spend RM99 on this Wild Cherry set. Totally worth the price.

It consists of shower gel (RM24.90), body puree (RM42) and body scrub (RM59.90). The smell is sweet yet not too strong. It doesn’t smell anything like cough syrup!

The shower gel washes off nicely without a sticky oily film and leaves a soft cherry scent. Top it up with the body puree and hooboy, it’s just delicious! The body puree isn’t sticky or heavy, but just enough to keep my skin well moisturized. And a little tip, to make the shower gel lather really well, use a shower puff! I love TBS’ shower puffs, the big size ones, as it feels real good on the skin! It’s firm yet soft, a little too big for my hands but it’s just wonderful!  The mini size are a little too soft and flimsy and kinda useless for me. Maybe my skin is too used to the big size one.

The body scrub feels a little like Garnier’s body scrub, but oilier and stickier and a bit more grainier. However, once it washes off, you get really soft and smooth skin. I won’t buy the scrub on it’s own, to be honest, since I think Garnier works damn well.

I was hesitating to get this set or the set that contains the shower gel, body scrub and the body butter. The set that contains the body butter is retailing at RM115. I was hesitating because I don’t think I need the body butter as it is a little oily on me, and the warm weather right now doesn’t permit me to use body butters as much as I would like to. But hm, it’s still calling my name.

But luckily, the SA told me it’s part of the permanent line, so there’s no rush!

And a little news for TBS lovers, purchase ANY full size shower gel and body scrub and get either one Peach, Raspberry or Pomegranate body butter at RM1! Promotion ends somewhere around 21st May! So hurry if you want them!

And a little tip before I end the post

If you like body butters but hate that sticky icky oily feeling, go for body butters that is NOT fruity, pick the ones with essential oils like the Moroccan Rose range or the Japanese Cherry Blossom range. The fruity ones like Strawberry, Pink Grapefruit etc are oilier. I think this is true because I have quite a few body butters and when I checked with the SA, she told me the same thing too

And always warm your body butter first on your hands before putting them on your body. It helps the skin to absorb the goodies faster! ^_^
