I have a thing for base makeup lately. Primers, foundation and concealer. I seem to be looking at them very very frequently compared to before.
When ZA launches this Pore Smoother, I couldn’t take my eyes off this stuff.
Really, it says it will reduce the appearance of pores, mattifying the skin and hence better looking foundation. Boy, am I sold! And so, I bought this little thing home.
It feels moist to the touch, but upon application on the skin, it turns matte. And translucent. So don’t expect any coverage or having some blemishes to be concealed because it won’t happen. But it does soak up the shine, that I can confirm.
But overall, I am just so disappointed.
It doesn’t really do the job of pore minimizing. My pores were minimized, but like 0.000001% of it only. Too little to be noticed unless you squint your eyes hard enough and look real closely.
Bleh, my Shills BB cream and Etude House base can do so much better!
Can I say this isn’t worth the money at all? I paid a good RM28.90 for this you know! Though not that pricey, but still, ergh! A total letdown!
I am going to use this on top of my liquid foundation or BB cream to soak up some extra shine, since it does that pretty okay. Or maybe as a base that soaks up shine. But I’m not counting on this to make my pore look smaller. Luckily this goes on translucent otherwise it has got nothing to offer me at all.
Am I repurchasing this? Maybe, IF it works extremly well in soaking up the shine when I use it as a makeup base or when I use it over my foundations/ BB creams. Otherwise, no way!

You did grab it. I have not up until now but was up in my wishlist. It’s a total let down though since you review it. I wanting to find something that keeps matte and pores look smaller. Would Etude House base be better at that?

I am using ettusais zero pore coat now.
the result is satisfactory but it’s a bit pricey compare to Za’s.
I got it with a promotional price so it’s fine with me

Sharon: Yeah, kinda.
But it does soak up a bit of shine, so not that bad. Just that I wish it wud perform better.
Pretty: I bought it a while back lor
Hehe. You bought That Gal??? Yer, I also wanted it! Pink base! Me don’t have!
Yumeko: It does soak up, but just a little
I wish it would soak up more too!
Hanna: I haven’t try Dr. FeelGood, so I can’t say it’s a dupe
Akiki: Ah, I heard about it. But because Ettusais can only be bought in Lot 10 if not mistaken, it’s quite far from me, so I tend not to bother with their products.
Dreamer: Oh well, I wish it did work!
Sue: LOL, your pocket saved, mine didn’t!
Traclyn: EH base is anytime better in covering up the pores, I’d say
