I got breakouts on my chin.
It happen during Chinese New Year, and it’s still there!
Damn the pimples just won’t “ripen” itself! And if it doesn’t, I can’t use my new love aka Nexcare pimple patch!
But I manage to test out a few new stuff before the breakout happened, so there will be some reviews coming along soon.
And it’s not the new makeup or skincare broke me out, it’s the late nights and not drinking enough water is causing the breakouts! Ah!!!! Must sleep more and drink more.
Anyway, I shall stop yapping! On to the review!

Please bear in mind this mask DO NOT retail at RM6.90 now. I bought it when there were sales.
It claims to:

I only bought a piece, so honestly, I think I don’t see much in the diminishing the appearance of dark spots and acne scars. Because I have always felt that getting rid of dark spots and scars takes time and patience and you must use the right products for a required amount of time. If I see results almost immediately, I think I would stop using it! Why? Simply because it means this stuff is so strong and my skin might not be able to handle it well! Not worth the risk!
But then, using this mask just for one time is making me liking it pretty much.
My skin looks brighter, it has a certain degree of translucency in it which my skin is so lacking off right now. Ugh. The lack of sleep, addicted to dramas etc… and the reward? Sallow dull skin. But this mask helps to lift off a little of the sallowness and dullness, and you look fresher. Not too bad eh? I suppose it’s the Vitamin C that’s doing it’s job.
The mask is soaked with essence, I think it’s 22.5ml if not mistaken. Not too bad, since I can leave my mask on for about 20 minutes without it drying off completely. The mask is medium thick, so it’s quite okay. Though it contains quite an amount of essence, it doesn’t drip! And it has a really light smell, but I can’t remember what’s the scent like. But it’s nothing yucky, rest assured.
And what I really like about this mask is it’s not sticky after application! It sits in real well into the skin, and even with a layer of moisturizer to seal the essence in, it’s still not sticky! I wonder if it’s because of Olay’s Total Effect? Hm… It doesn’t matter, because I love the non-sticky part!
The only gripe I’m having is that the cutting of the mask. Slightly a little too big for my face. Or maybe I didn’t put it properly.

I know I look stupid here.
But I don’t care.
Here’s the ingredients list:

Overall, I think this mask is pretty nice, but to see the whitening effect it will take some time.
The mask didn’t sting me, because sometimes products infused with high amount of Vitamin C tends to sting me a little. Thank god this didn’t.
It also provides adequate moisture to the face, and the skin felt good even until the next day
I would buy this again, but I have too many mask currently
Hope the post has helped out those who wants to try this! ^_^
i used ZA whitening products last time till my aunt (whos a beautician working at one of the more prestigious skin clinics in singapore) told me to stop using this because it was meant for westerners skin whom tend to be more dry compared to asian skins whom tend to be more on the combination/oily side. after using ZA products for a year, i have numerous blackheads on my nose and i’ve to go for a peeling treatment on my nose to remove them.
just thought that i should let you know this

I never see any long term results from facial masks, maybe it’s because I don’t stick to one and I don’t do it regularly ! LOL

Chery: Thanks for the heads up! I noticed that if I use anything too heavy, I get more blackheads than ever >_< But so far I haven't used anything from ZA except this mask and the cleansing oil, so I think I'm quite safe.
Once again, thanks for the info ya! ^_^

Nikki: Same here! I usually doze off as I put on the mask, so overnight mask is my best friend!
Sheet mask is risky cuz it sucks up the moisture from your skin once it dries up. Scary!
