Everyday Minerals Concealer in Multi Tasking & Baby Kabuki

Sorry ladies, been procrastinating a bit lately.

Ahaha. Some changes happened in life, so been doing some coping up.

I have this principle where I test 1 product at a time, usually for skincare, body stuff, foundations, makeup bases and concealers. It takes about 1 to 2 months of monitoring from me, as my skin have a mind of it own. Sometimes perfect, sometimes dry sometimes oily. You get my drift don’t you? Colour products I review them much faster, since they are not so problematic for me.

Okay. Now you know.

Here’s the review for another mineral product, this time a concealer!

Love your spots, define new contours, show it all off, it’s your skin and it’s beautiful.
Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines

Multi-Tasking Concealer
is a universally wearable shade of beige that works to cover your blemishes, reduce redness, and highlight your best assets. Truly a wonderful concealer to have in your makeup kit!

Multi-Tasking is recommended for Light to Light Medium skintones.

Yes, it’s beig-y alright, but I notice it has a very faint pink undertone in it. Don’t believe it? See this.

Photobucket

Can you see the pinky undertone right now?It is very very light, but still, just a wee bit of pink in it. Not that I am bothered with it, as I find this works rather well for my dark circles.

Photobucket

I think you are able to see the difference right? With and without the concealer.

A closer view…

Photobucket

Discolouration gone and it becomes very much evened tone. It doesn’t conceal 100%, but it fixes the discolouration very well and make me look much fresher.

The texture of the concealer is the same like EDM Matte Foundation in Light, finely milled and very nice to blend in. But I do notice I need to watch out the amount I use, because if I use too much, it’ll be a little cakey and gives a whitish cast which isn’t what I fancy. Sometimes, if my undereyes is very dry, it does sink into the fine lines too :( So, I avoid using this when the skin around my eyes is dry. Liquid concealers are a much better option for me for days like that.

It’s retailing in Lovingminerals.com for RM32 for 5.5gm in a 25gm jar.

I’ll need to introduce you to my EDM baby kabuki too! :D

Photobucket

It’s very small in size, so it’s really cute! It fits well for my rather small palms (I think I have small hands), and I use this to apply and blend the concealer.

This would be nice to apply mineral foundations too because it’s small, and it’s easier to get into those nooks and crannies :)

And did I mention how soft and dense and lovely this brush is?

On a side note, I would be very much happier if this brush is smaller and more precise if it were to be use a concealer brush for the eye area alone, as this one now is a little too big than what I like for the purpose that I use it for.

It used to be sold on Lovingminerals.com for RM30 (I can’t remember the exact price, but it’s around there), but I haven’t seen it a long time already. Perhaps it has been discontinued? Am not sure. But it’s not a must have brush, just that it’s nice to own it if you love buying brushes (like me!)

Ooh now I want the beige concealer for my undereyes! Very noticeable difference. =)

If you’re looking for a smaller denser brush to use undereye try Everyday Minerals Kabuki Eye brush. It’s great for powder undereye concealer =D

Woww I didn’t know that powder concealers can work so well. I’ve always been a cream concealer fan. Does this concealer works well for blemishes and redness around the nose area too? And does it lasts the whole day?

but i still prefer liquid concealers for my dark eye circles, i find it more moisturizing, plus, i have fine lines :(

This seems to really work for you. I have it also in the same color but I’m always too lazy to apply concealer but this post makes me want to pay more attention to it again. :)

I love EDM brushes! I think they have a concealer brush also. :)

Kahani: If Lovingminerals bring them in, I will try! :D

Pretty: it’s my job to tempt you lor!

Sarah: This does help to conceal blemishes and redness, sometimes I use this alone without foundie. It lasted about 5 hours before needing touch up, but without touching up it still look ok at the end of the day :)

Chian: If you have fine lines, I do recommend liquid :) I myself like liquid better, but for a change i switch to powders.

Elyn: thanks dearie! Eh, can use wet ka? how to use? Dampen the brush first?

    Nikki: Thank you!

Enon: A little goes a long way! I doubt I can finish mine in a year or so!

Simonne: Ah, you must be referring to Lovingminerals then :) Do check them out as they offer good services :)
