Packaging is simple yet classy, yes? I quite like minimalistic packaging, provided that they don’t look cheap and crudely made.

Colour is a little off here, it isn’t as dark as seen on the picture, it’s quite a medium shade of plummy-pink tone lippie and it contains silvery blue shimmer flecks in it. Very very pretty.

I swatched 3 times for the top pictures, and once for the bottom ones. Notice how sheer it can be? The name says it all, Sheer Climax Rouge. No idea why the ‘climax’ though. Maybe you get high or some sort after applying? I wonder.

As you can see, the colour varies due to different lightings, but I would say that Pic 1 is the closest to real life colour. It appears a peachy pink colour under the other 2 lightings which I don’t know why. Maybe it’s my skintone? But nevertheless, it looks like a really wearable colour for everyone whether it’s for day or night!

However, on the lips, it’s very very different than the swatches I’ve done!

Obviously, it looks like a milky lavender pink on me. Swiped twice on the lips. My lips’ dry and it’s cracking here and there. So naturally, the lippie sinks into the fine lines a little, which I think with by applying a lipbalm before the lippie, the problem will be solved easily.

Before you go thinking that this isn’t the colour for you, there’s one more pictures of the lippie on my lips!

Doesn’t it look wonderfully natural on me?

The last picture are the one that is the closest to real life colours on lips. A glossy plummy pink which goes on quite natural on me, as long as I swipe not more than twice on my lips. I wonder why is it that sheer on my hands but not as sheer on the lips? Weird right?

The lipstick lasted quite a while, with normal eating and drinking. Reapplication is needed if you want the glossy lips. Glossiness is gone by the time you finish your food.

I won’t say that this lip colour is great for all skintones, as I find that I need to be careful when I apply this. Anything too much makes me look weird and I think I look washed out and maybe even look sickly. Oh well, pink lipsticks hardly work that well for me. I’m just glad this I could make this lipstick work for me instead of throwing giving/swapping it away.

Kanebo Coffret D’or Spring 2009

Luminous Accent Eye Shadow features a glossy light line emitting a beautiful shine to deliver eyes that are clear and alluring.

A colored powder eye shadow with a gel liner. Various combination techniques create the impression of eyes filled with light.

The top most is the highlight, left most the lid colour, right most is the crease colour and the center is a sparkling gel liner for your lower lashline! Quite interesting aye?

I’m eyeing on Palette 2 and 3! Still not launched in Malaysia yet But it is available in Taiwan now.

A water-proof gel liner that glides on to easily create a beautiful line that lasts for hours.

Glides on just as you imagined, even between lashes and the edges of the eyes. Fresh coloring and gloss define the eyes for a more impressive look.

Comes in 3 colours, BK-30, BR-33, GY-05. I am highly interested in GY-05. Heard that it’s a lovely blue grey colour, and it comes with a retractable eyeliner brush! Nice! Oh, this isn’t in Malaysia yet too!

Moving on to a new favourite brand of mine, Shiseido Maquillage.

This comes in 5 variations, and I can’t get pictures of the other shades I just like the design! But I will need to look at the colours before buying For now, it’s on my wish list!

Comes in 4 variation and it looks nice! Again, it’s only on my wish list. Gotta look at the real thing before I decide on anything! And, this does not come with the case. You have to buy it separately

Shiseido Maquillage Spring 09 items are not in Malaysian stores yet. The SA who serves me in Midvalley will give me a call once it arrives

This isn’t part of the Spring 09 collection, but it’s so lovely and I want it so much that I need to tell you girls! It comes in 2 shade and it’s awfully pretty. I really want this. But, the case is sold separately >_< Gah! I hate this!

I think I’ll be increasing a few more as time passes by, but for now, this is it!

By the way, Shu Uemura’s Spring collection isn’t anything that I want. I’m kinda disappointed with it. Too sheer and pastel like. Not something I would dig into. Maybe I love their Christmas palette too much!

Why: Provides medium coverage, doesn’t oxidize, stays on well, not drying, easy to spread. Downside: Colour range very small and a little too white

Why: Cheap, provides decent coverage

Why: NYX rouge cream blushers are pigmented, soft, creamy and easy to blend. Long lasting too. Origins Pinch Your Cheeks is quite cheap and long lasting. Majolica Majorca blusher is pigmented and smooth.

Eyes

Eye primer/ base: Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Why: They really do what they claim to do! Downside: A little expensive and not available in Malaysia.

Single eyeshadow: Majolica Majorca

Why: Pigmented and smooth. Better quality than the palettes IMO.

Eyeshadow palette: Kate Deep Trap Eyes, Shu Uemura Midnight Sakura from Mika Holiday 2008 Collection

Why: Gorgeous colours! And definitely worth the money!

Gel liner: Coastal Scents gel liners, Shiseido Maquillage gel liners

Why: Smooth, creamy, hardly budge. Maquillage is easily available here, but not CS.

Pencil eyeliner: Secret pencil eyeliner, Silkygirl Funky Eye Lights

Why: Secret is cheap and the black is dark enough, though it smudges a little. Silkygirl comes in a lot of fun colours and are easy to use! Cheap too!

Mascara base: Kate

Mascara: Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Neo, Kiss Me Heroine Make mascaras, ZA Cutie Curl(Long Lash)

Why: MJ is well known for it’s mascara, need I say more?

Lips

Lipstick: Avon Ultra Moisture Rich

Why: Smooth, creamy, pigmented! And cheap!

Lipgloss: Cynthia Rowley for Avon LE lipgloss, Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss, Rimmel Vinyl Stars/ Vinyl lipgloss, Rimmel Shock lipgloss

Why: Rimmel lipglosses are quite cheap and not sticky. Has quite a sweet smell. The colours are lovely too.

And to my surprise, I saw Shiseido in Jusco was putting up Maquillage Christmas Set!

How can I miss the chance of not checking it out!

Swatches!

Top: GY831, Center: Ignore it. Bottom: RD632

Colours swatched are for the LE version of the Gel Liner which comes ONLY with the set. >_<

See how pigmented they are? And they are quite smooth too! And it comes with a brush too!

GY831 is the more shimmery if compared to RD632. It features a silvery-greyish blue with silver shimmer. RD632 is somewhat like a rusty red copper colour, and it’s not as shimmery as the GY831. The shimmer is more subtle. Unless you look closely, you can’t see shimmers at all!

And they are smudge-proof and waterproof too!

I rubbed it hard with my dry hands, and it wouldn’t budge!

I splash with water, rubbed it, no budging either! Only when I rubbed really hard, it started coming off a little.

Then I added some soap and rubbed like there’s no tomorrow…

Finally! Reddish hand!

And it’s now squeaky clean!

After cleaning my hands, I then remembered that I forgot to actually take pictures of the swatches of the eyeshadow palette. >_< Gah! But they were quite smooth and aren't too sheer, shimmery too! I especially like the Gold palette's reddish colour eyeshadow, it's quite a lovely one!

I’m purchasing the Gold palette set from Midvalley Jusco today (Dec 20) because Shiseido will be giving Jusco vouchers for every RM100 you buy! By the way, this promotion is only valid in Midvalley Jusco.

I am contemplating on whether to get the Blue palette too. >_< I want ONLY the GY831, but I don’t want the eyeshadow palette, because I don’t carry blue too well. Anyone wants to share with me?
