Pure & Mild White Brightening Lotion

After ranting about the Brightening Emulsion, this is something that I like very much, other than the Brightening Cleanser. ^_^ Happy me!

It’s the same signature faint floral smell like the rest of the series. And the toner is watery. Of course it is.

Anyway, as other toners, I usually pour a good amount of it into a cotton pad and gently glide them over all my face. Unlike Loreal Hydrafresh and Nivea Refreshing Toner, it’s slightly sticky after application, but still acceptable.

I think this toner does a great job in whitening and brightening the face because after continuous usage for a week or so, my sister told me my skin was looking more radiant and brighter. Imagine the happiness!

So when my sister commented this, I thought why not make it into a mask?

So I got clever, and soak cotton pads with the toner and place them all over the face like how I would with a sheet mask. And I get good results!

Face is moisturized, skin is supple and smooth and yes, radiant and glowy! Though it’s sticky, but with adequate massage, everything’s okay and acceptable.

It’s cheap to do this every so often! Me like!

Buying it again? Oh yes!

Pure & Mild White Brightening Emulsion

The same faint floral smell like its Brightening Cleanser, which I like. And Unfortunately, it’s the ONLY thing that I like.

The emulsion is white in colour and the texture is somewhat thick. When I pour some out onto my palms, I have a strong feeling that I won’t like this. And yes. That’s true.

Upon application, no matter how little I apply, it still gives me that sticky-icky feeling on my face. Ewww… I hate that. >_< A big no no for me. And it doesn't really help when it doesn't absorb fast and I thought emulsions should absorbed quicker than cream?

Anyway, it doesn’t suit my skin. Maybe dry skin.

Because I hardly use this due to the texture and the feeling after application, I am not too sure of the whitening results. All I can say is if the texture is lighter, I will use this again, as I quite like the cleanser and the toner from the Brightening series.

Pure & Mild White UV Protector SPF29 PA++

This is a sunblock that I use before I started using and loving Biore.

Prior to using any sunblocks, I only use moisturizers with SPF in it. >_< I was lazy. Hee~

This sunblock is in cream form, slightly pinkish and has a faint floral scent like all Pure & Mild products.

Like Neutrogena’s sunblock, it’s slightly difficult to spread. I don’t quite like it. I find that whenever I apply this on my face, my skin feels like suffocating. It’s like a thick layer of cream applied on my skin and it’s dying because of the lack of oxygen.

And it states that with a pinkish colour, it helps to gives your face a radiant glow. It also works as a makeup base. Ugh… Radiant glow? Not really. It leaves a somewhat whitish cast on my face, my face looks “white”, and not radiant or glowy. In fact, it looks pale white with an oily look! It might have suit people with really fair skin. But definitely not me. An as a makeup base? It makes no difference to me. It has got no oil control, and my makeup doesn’t show better with it in anyway. Might have work well for dry skin, but not for combination or oily skin like mine. The whole thing gets worse.

And with SPF29 and PA++? I think I rather go for Biore anytime. Better protection.

I only use a few times of this and it’s now laying dormant in my hometown. Time to chuck it. Thought of sharing my thoughts before binning it. A letdown from Pure & Mild, they could have done better.

I hate dislike Pure & Mild White Brightening Treatment Mask, but this cleansing foam, I must say, I LOVE IT!

I usually use this in the mornings, as I require something that cleanses my face gently. I use another cleanser for the night, reviews will be up for that soon! I have been using this for a long long time, and there’s still quite an amount in the tube. A little goes a long way, you know. Going down to the basics, texture is a white creamy paste. It’s really foamy and bubbly after water is added. Good thing for the skin!

It has a really light floral scent, not too strong, just nice for the mornings. I like how the floral scent lingers, it refreshes the mind. The scent is very spring-like.

After cleansing, skin feels soft and smooth, and squeaky clean! I love to touch my face after washing, it just feels so good! Even if I have really light makeup (a little bit of concealer and blusher), it cleanses very well but doesn’t dry out the skin or leave the skin feeling taut.

And the best thing, it’s cheap!

Overall, this is a nice product from Pure & Mild. I must say, this cleanser is something I will repurchase in the future! Provided I don’t feel like trying any other cleansers out!

Pure & Mild White Brightening Treatment Mask

This mask, is something I am disappointed with.

It’s sticky. It doesn’t brighten up my face nor whitens my face. It doesn’t even moisturizes my face really well! >_<

The only thing I like about this mask is that the cutting fits my face, it has lots of essence and it has a light fragrance.

Other than that, this mask is a piece of trash. Not worth buying at all. Thank god I got it for free.
