So I decided to pay a few blogshops a vist, and I came across this one.

Sounds familiar? I think it’s quite popular and quite famous, because it was featured in magazines and what nots for a few times.

Anyway, love the quirky items they have. Colourful and oh-so-pretty! Saw an item I really like but too bad there wasn’t any description or dimension given, so I had to ask.

But that’s exactly where my problem started. Yeap, you read it right, PROBLEM.

On June 22, I texted the owner asking for a bit of details on the item I am highly interested. I texted because of this…

So naturally I expected a reply within 24 hours, since you said super duper fast deal. Okay, so I was enquiring and maybe you don’t answer questions in the form of sms.

So I sent you an email. On June 23.

And right up until now, as I am typing, I receive NO replies at all. No SMS, no emails replied. For 1 week.

I thought you were busy, but I guess too busy to even reply my email.

You got time to update your blog as per screen capture below…

So I reckon you are busy from the event but hm, you have time to update your blog, update Facebook and even send messages to the group but you don’t have time to reply to my email when I have clearly told you that I would like to know the dimension of the item because I am highly interested in it. And you even stated in your blog for that colour, it’s very limited and I figure such pretty item would go OOS fast, hence I sms you and even follow up with an email just so that I get a fast reply and nab that item for myself.

But alas! I receive no news from you, up until now. Do you know how frustrated I am?

I had really wanted that item, and I am willing to pay for it. But I am frustrated because I didn’t receive any reply from you, I am disappointed. I don’t expect you to reply immediately, but at least can you just show some indication that you are going through you pile of emails, which I am sure you have like really alot, and tell everyone that you are gonna reply, just that it’ll be slow?

I appreciate if you had given some sort of notice on your blog saying you will be away, so email responses won’t be as fast, but there’s none. And I felt cheated when you said I’d get a faster response by using SMS to contact you.

I know I didn’t confirm my order nor paid for it, because I want to know some details before I buy something. It’s my right, no? Since you didn’t provide the details I wanted to know on your blog either.

I don’t know if anyone had this problem before, maybe they had, maybe they didn’t, but I guess I am unlucky this time. I won’t say this is a horrible experience, but it’s more than enough for me NOT to purchase anything from you, no matter how pretty/cheap/unique it is.

To those who had good experience with her, please don’t bash me. I think I am being very reasonable to wait for a reply for 1 whole week. Unless you tell me my email went into the spam box, then I really have got nothing to say. But so far, all my emails sent to other Yahoo accounts has been okay, so I’m not sure where went wrong.

Sorry, but no way am I purchasing anything from The Old Blossom Box Store unless there’s a valid reason why my email wasn’t replied.

Stila haul.

What happen?

I AM ANGRY WITH STILA’S SERVICE!

Honestly.

You know, I bought a few stuff from them. Actually it’s eyeshadows to be precise.

I went home with a happy heart and after giving a few more thoughts, I decided to pay them another visit, this time, to get a few more stuff.

Fine.

So I ordered Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain, Kajiki and Seafoam (both are eyeshadow duos), their best seller tinted moisturizer, illuminating concealer and Gerbera convertible colour. All items were OOS, so the lady said she’ll reserved those stuff for me and CALL me when it’s here.

It was on a Sunday.

I waited like a good girl… till Friday. Then I went to the counter to ask again about Stila.

That woman is petite in size, thin, with long black hair, slightly curly around the ends. She gave me a damn snobbish look and said…

“Don’t worry, we WILL call you when the stocks arrive.”

Fine. Damn lousy attitude, I told myself. But anyway, I left with a hopeful heart.

Today I went to Stila. Not on purpose. But because I heard of Connie’s tale about Carmen’s stuff was not being reserved and was sold to others, I just had to go!

And yes, I suffer the same fate.

My stuff was NOT reserved! Sold! Gone! Whatever!

And that same woman who gave me a lousy looking face on Friday served me again today.

I told her the exact same words she told me on Friday. And guess what’s her answer?

“We said we’ll call you if there’s stock.”

Hello? I thought you said you will call when there’s stock? So when the stock came, and you bloody knew I reserved them, then why didn’t you call me??? And you sold them off?

WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU SALES?

I know you are busy with the sales since Stila’s closing down, but you are NOT suppose to promise what you can’t deliver. And you bloody well know you will be busy because of the sales, so why say you will reserve and call the customers when their stuff are here???

Doesn’t make sense!

The worst part, that woman actually offered to sell me a bright orange convertible colour to please me, LIKE AS IF I WANT THAT COLOUR. Hello, I know you are trying to get rid of your stuff, but I won’t buy it because I don’t like that colour! And the tinted moisturizer, only Bare left, and she actually wanted to sell me that without asking me if the colour would be right for me, or testing the colour on me first. Hm, coincidentally, Bare was also the last colour left?

I am NOT a rubbish bin for your leftovers!

Nor am I a pushover OR I can be bullied!

Remember that well fellow Sales Assistants!

Stila, I am so disappointed with your SA!

And for those who are curious bout my haul that I promised, here’s my mini haul from Stila… I was supposed to have a bigger haul, but thanks to those SAs, I got only 5 eyeshadows! >_<

And just conclude the whole thing, I wasn’t really that angry about not getting my stuff that I wanted, it was more of me being angry about the whole issue of ‘you promised but you didn’t deliver’ sorta thing.

I am actually a very nice person you know.

If anyone of you are wondering, where did my Garnier Body Lotion post and the Inuovi false eyelashes plus FOTD gone to?

The answer is bloody simple.

My host/ server got messed up by an unknown “force”, and I can’t retrieve both of that blog post/ comments back!

And I have got no backups!

Am I angry or not?

Gone! 2 posts gone with the wind, just like that!

Being angry won’t solve anything, so I am now thinking whether should I rewrite both blog post.

2 red and ugly scratch mark on my oh-so-fair legs! Gah!

Like as though I don’t have enough scars on my face, arms and legs! >_<

Stupid gardener of Midvalley trim the bougainvillea and left the branches scattered all over the place! And I was fumbling for stuff in my handbag and I actually stepped on one without me noticing!

Only until I find my leg is all weird and everything, then only I notice the damn branch stuck under my shoes. The damn thorn actually nearly pierced through my shoes! Thank god it didn’t go through… Otherwise… Sad Christmas for me!

Then because I was fussing with my shoes, I forgot that I am crossing the street and thank god a car slowed down when he saw me being a little absent minded. If not, I might not be blogging now!

Nevermind, as I was trying to be poise *am I ever poise?*, I nearly bump into the large vase!

Awful day!

So now my shoes is obviously not wearable, because I can’t get the thorn out, and I am left with 2 red scratches!

I gotta go and buy new shoes! >_<

Next time, I will look down onto the floor every 1 minute just to check if there’s any not-supposed-to-be-on-the-floor object!

I’m being honest here..you need to hit the gym. And drink more water.

Chubbiness aside, your face looks all puffy. The makeup doesn’t seem to have a smooth canvas for it to fully flaunt its ability to ‘beauty-up’ someone.

Gals are not the sort to tell the truth, especially in a friend’s face. They’d tell you you look ‘hot’, ‘ready to paint the town red’, etc, etc, for the sake of cheering a friend up.

But do you want to be wrapped in bubble-wrap forever? Outspoken behaviour may sting, but if nobody tells you to stop wasting money on makeup and brushes, and start exercising more instead, you’d never be motivated to do so, would you?

My best friend was dumped by a guy. She’s not the prettiest gal in the clique, but she has a good heart. Everybody loved her. We all did.Her boyfriend’s new woman’s a freelance model. I hate to say it, but the vixen’s HOT.

And yet, I stand amidst hisses of “you’re much prettier than that bitch”, “even with pimples, you’re still more attractive than HER”.

I know there are ways to comfort someone, but lies should not be one of them. Take her out of a movie, watch a hunk video with her, tell her what a great person she is, but do NOT lie blatantly in her face.

Plue, you’re a nice woman. But if you do not take care, you’d look older than your age. The cheeks have some hint of puffiness…sagging. Believe me, gymming really burns excess fat, and tones your muscles too. You’d look less sickly, more alert, and a much MORE ‘beautied up life’.

I definitely know I am FAT and BIG sized. I really don’t need people go telling me that each time they see me. My family, my friends, everyone that I know of, have made that remark at least once, since I was a child. I used to shed tears when I hear it, because it is the truth, and nothing but the truth. But as I grow older, I accepted the fact that what they were saying is right, and I hardly feel the pinch anymore.

Honestly, this sentence coming from a total stranger like you, is quite a shock. Maybe you are not a stranger. Maybe I know you or you know me. But anyway, since you did not leave your name, I assume that we are not related or know each other in any way.

Perhaps I should disclose a little more about myself?

I wear a size L, sometimes an XL, and sometimes an M. It really depends on the cutting of the clothes. I weigh around 68kg? For a 163cm. Overweight. Bloody overweight. You think I don’t know?

I mind it more than anyone else.

I hate going shopping for clothes, because I look ugly in them. So I spend my money on cosmetics. Those are easy to find, and somehow, comforting.

I’m sorry to hear about your best friend, I truly am.

If it happens to me, if he were to find someone looking prettier and is anytime better in personality compared to me, I wish him happiness.

If looks to him matters that much, then I don’t know why should I be bothered with him anymore. Perhaps I am selfish, because I am too lazy do something about myself, that’s why I expect him to not bother too much about my weight and appearance.

Those who said I look good, I thank all of you. Even though it may be just a white lie. It has at least, made me happy, even if it’s just superficial. Please don’t assume that they lie or just wanting me to feel good. I am thankful because even though some of them are not really friends, some are just readers, I am grateful enough that they even want to cheer me up and say nice things.

I am totally unhappy about my package received today. Yes, it is THAT package I was talking about yesterday.

The waiting time made me bloody pissed off, the number of times I have to call and check on my parcel, the empty promises made by them… I can only say, MALAYSIA BOLEH in giving the WORST kind of customer service!

And I am suspecting my Sana eyelash curler was opened and tested or some sort. It just don’t feel right. Packaging for it is squish and squash. Ugh, like as though it is unwanted.

A BIG boo to Malaysia’s post office!

Not all sellers can do that.

Those who I list in my Trusted Seller list on the left sidebar has always gave good service, right from ordering, paying, packaging and receiving.

Off and on, there’s a minor glitch or two, but then everyone has faults, I completely understand. I don’t blame them.

In fact, it’s the post office who is always causing trouble!

This package I am suppose to receive from Niyi on the 9th October 2008, has not reach me till today. For God’s sake, I am suppose to be able to play around with new stuff during the weekend! >_<

I waited patiently on Friday. Postman did not come. Fine. Saturday and Sunday they don’t work. Fine. Monday came. Whole morning went by. No one came. I can’t wait so I called in the afternoon.

me: hi, I would to check on the status of my parcel.
guy A: tracking number please.
me: CD XXXXX MY.
guy A: it’s still with us.
me: i check on your website, it stated it should reach me on 9th October. what happen?
guy A: thursday ada bencanca alam la~ (Translation: Natural disaster happen on Thursday)
me: oh, you mean the heavy rain? (lame excuse i thought)
guy A: yala…
me: why didn’t you send today?
guy A: the postman forgot.
me: so when can i get it?
guy A: tomorrow we will send.
me: okay, if i don’t get it, i will call again.

So stupid. Bencana Alam. Natural Disaster. I thought what happen. And it was just only an extra heavy rain. Hmph! Lame excuse. Nevermind. As a understanding person, I let you off this time. I wait.

And so I waited whole day. No one came. I called again.

me: hi, i want to check on the status of my parcel.
guy B: tracking number please.
me: CD XXXX MY
guy B: i will have to check. give me your phone number, i call you back?
me: 03-XXXXX, s**w**
guy B: thank you.

And as expected, no calls. I call them again. This time I am really angry.

me: hi, i want to check on the status of my parcel.
guy C: tracking number please.
me: CD XXXX MY
guy C: it’s still with us in the post office.
me: yesterday i call and your staff said you will be sending today. what happen again?
guy c: ah… er… now your parcel with me, what do you want me to do?
me: all i want to know is when can i get it.
guy C: tomorrow i will send to you.
me: okay. may i know who am i speaking with?
guy C: Ha***.
me: i will be waiting tomorrow then.

I actually called more than this, but then those conversation are just the same as both, so I just put in 2 which made me so mad!

Fingers crossed I receive them tomorrow. Otherwise, that guy will get it from me! Hmph! Don’t bully me just because I so young and new!

*** Not A Review Post *** 

I was so pissed off yesterday.

Because some rude lady ignore me being in line and cut queue to pay her stuff!

WTF!!! 

She did not have the courtesy to even ask “Are you in the line?”. She just straight away went to the cashier, ignoring the fact I was there and pay for her stuff!

I was like…

OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS WOMAN DOING? 

Am I so tiny in size or so disgusting or so horrible that she can’t even talk to me or notice my presence and just ignore the fact that I WAS THERE FIRST?

Seriously!

The lady in front of me asked the cashier to wait for a bit because she needed to get something else and her friend wasn’t around, being the nice kind me, I waited patiently.

And there goes this idiotic lady who cuts queue!

Was she being ignorant? Did she forget her manners? Or she just so happen to forget bring her eyes and brains out to the mall? LOL.

She’s young, I think below 30 years old, with her boyfriend/husband beside her. She dresses nicely and I think she’s quite well to do. And she seems to be highly educated and possesses an intellectual look, but, this act of hers spoils her image!

I don’t think education here plays a very BIG role, but more of what we call, COMMON SENSE. I can’t stress enough on people should be at least polite and have some manners when you are out there dealing with people.

If you are in a rush to get your items paid, you can always ask the person in front of you to see whether he/she can allow you to go first. If you are not sure whether is the person in front of you queuing up or not, YOU CAN ALWAYS ASK NICELY. I do that, and usually people respond nicely and of course, with a smile.

Is that so difficult?

I don’t understand why some middle-age aunty/uncle can be allowed to cut the queue and pay first. Why? Is it because you are older and wiser?

If you are wiser, then please, DON’T CUT QUEUE like some young idiots out there! You are more than that! I’ve dealt with aunties and uncles cutting my line and I always have to give in. If I reasoned with them, they say I am being rude and impolite to the elderly. But wait, aren’t YOU the one who’s being rude and impolite first? Don’t try to teach me when you can’t even set a good example.

I DON’T BUY THAT SHIT!  

And of course, I don’t see the reason why I should let you cut because:

1. We are both customers.
2. I can wait, so why can’t you?
3. Even though you are an aunty/uncle, but it doesn’t mean it gives you the privileges of cutting people’s line.
4. DON’T BULLY ME JUST BECAUSE I AM SO MUCH YOUNGER THAN YOU!

And yes, those cashier who let people cut queue are BLIND. Horribly BLIND. But it’s not their fault. It’s the fault of UNCIVILIZED people out there.

I am not one. You better not be one.

And if you are, please don’t cross my line.

I won’t keep quiet about it.
