Sana 39mm Eyelash Curler

My favourite eyelash curler! It’s handle is very springy, so you don’t need to use a lot of strength to curl your lashes. Just lightly press it and you get nice curls. The rubber pad is very soft too, so it won’t break your lashes. The width and the curve of the curler is just right for my eyes and it manage to grasps all those tiny little lashes that other curlers can’t quite curl. :D

I tested it out yesterday on how long the curl can last just by using the curler only and without any mascara on it, and I am proud to say that the curl lasted from 7.30am to approximately 10pm at night! I rub my eyes a few times throughout the day but it didn’t damage the curl at all! I’m so thrilled by this!

Now all I hope is that this curler of mine don’t break down and hopefully I can get someone to buy the refill rubber pads from me. Seems like neither Malaysia nor Singapore is selling the refill rubber pads, I think I’ll have to get it from Japan instead. Anyone care to help me get it?

Price: RM34 (Price varies from seller to seller as I bought this online)

I couldn’t love this one. It hurt terribly when I used it :(

I have the LE pink version and brought it b/c of the color but I’ve made no use out of it my shu curler gets more love.

    hello!

oh dear, sana curler didin’t work for you? maybe your eyes aren’t suitable for it. :)

but then, at least you have shu curler. I would love to try that out because it has great reviews, but for the price of it, I rather get sana because it’s cheaper.

the only gripe I have with sana is where to get the refills as singapore doesn’t sell it and the lady I always buy japanese cosmetic from can’t get the refill. it’s a shame really.

by the way, thanks for stopping by!

    regards,

    hello 心。葵!

For some reason it pinched awfully!

You could be right as it might be made to fit the contour of an asian eye and my eyes are very wide and buggy so I have alot of area to cover with the curler. But damn it hits something fierce. Funny as I love Sana products and I thought for sure I’d love this!

I actually reviewed it on my blog too!

How much is the shu curler in your side of the world if you don’t mind me asking?

    It’s $20 USD here.

Hmmm that’s interesting as the refills for the sana I had heard were easy enough to get! If I come across them I’ll surely let you know ;)

The good news is I only ever change my pads once a year or so. The one you have should last a good long time. This came with two didn’t it? By the time you use both you’ll be wanting a new curler hehehe!

    Cheers!

i haven’t tried other sana products, but I’ve heard nice reviews about their pore putty concealer. might try it out once i have my pay :P

shu’s curler is retailing between rm50 to rm60, not quite sure of the exact price, but it’s somewhere along the line. compare with sana, it’s much more exp!

wow, a good pad really last you that long huh? it came with one refill, so i suppose it will last me bout 2 years :P

a new curler? hm… might try shu’s then, since it’s always been a raved product from loads of MUAs!

    hi again!

aja! About the same price here for it. I always find it interesting that the Shu prices range about the same almost all over the world.

MA’s suggest using a pad for about 1 year with proper care. I clean mine after each use as you can get major gross build up :)

The shu curler fits the contour of the eye beautifully ;)

    and thanks for dropping by!
