The Bodyshop Grapeseed Glossing Serum

This is the first hair serum that ever came close to finishing and it has successfully made me purchase the second bottle, which is so rare!

It comes in a pump dispenser bottle, and rest assure, this baby never leaks. I always place it in my bag and never once it leak and stain my bag or anything inside. :D Which is good news for people who are always on the move!

The serum is transparent and smells heavenly! It smells a bit citrus-y, but fresh. The smell might a bit too strong when you are using it for the first time, but after a while, once you get used to it, the smell is just alright. This is exactly one the reasons why I bought this!

It claims to moisturize your hair, making it less frizzy, to help prevent split ends and to add shine to your hair. Usually before I dry-blow my hair, I apply some of this onto my hair, dry-blow it, and whee! Soft hair!

I don’t really notice the part of it preventing split ends, as my hair don’t have/ have very little split ends, so I can’t judge on that.

For the moisturize part, hm… I can’t say it did very well, neither can I say it didn’t do its job. Usually right after my hair is being blow-dried, it’s soft but still slightly frizzy. Then I will spray some leave in conditioner (will review on that soon), apply a bit more the serum to give it shine and to help lock in moisture, and it works. But after a while, I will need to re-apply it again, because my hair-ends is a bit dry in nature, so I don’t really mind. Oh, this serum works for flyaways too if you have flyaways with your hair tied or bun up. :)

This serum is rather lightweight and even if you apply a bit too much, it doesn’t leave that oily feeling on your hair nor on your hand. :) And I love to spread this on once I straighten my hair with my trusty Philips Hair Straightener :D

I got the second bottle because it was the Star Buy of The Month in The Bodyshop, if not I will have to think twice of whether to buy it again as it’s not really cheap. But a little goes a long way. Even with my such long and thick hair, I think it lasted me like… 6 to 8 months?

The choice is yours to make. Great smell, not oily, it works but the bad part is, it comes with quite a high price tag.
