Top left: Loreal Liss Extreme Shampoo
Top right: Joico Silk Result Shampoo and Conditioner (For thick and coarse hair)
Bottom: Loreal Elseve Anti Breakage Hair Mask
I’ll be reviewing one by one. This is going to be a long post!!
This shampoo is especially for maintaining straight, sleek and shiny hair. So for those who have curly hair or very coarse hair, this might not be suitable for you. However, for those who had rebonding, this might be nice for you, I used it after I did rebonding.
It’s texture is creamy-runny, but it’s a shampoo what do you expect? You don’t expect getting some heavy slob or anything like that right? The colour is a light lavender with a light hint of fragrance. Quite subtle, not strong at all. And I really don’t know how to describe the smell, not a flowery note neither a musky or fruity woody note.
When used, it doesn’t produce a lot of foam, especially if you used it in your first wash. I have this habit of washing my hair two or three times, in order to get rid of the dirt and grim. For your information, I was my hair once every other day. If I wash everyday, my hair would be too dry. Back to topic, so usually I wash my hair the first time with Loreal Elseve range of shampoo. Loreal Elseve rang of shampoos are one of the best drugstore brand that I’ve used for a long time! After rinsing, I use Loreal Liss Extreme. The first wash already got rid most of the dirt, so by second wash, more foam are produce. Rinsing out the shampoo is easy, and your hair is coated with a light fragrance that lingers for a while after drying. Hair is soft and smooth after usage. Me like!
I love this one! Very moisturizing! Texture is runny and is pinkish in colour. Fragrance is quite light, not very heavy. Everytime after I’m done with swimming and done with my first wash of hair, I always use this as my final wash. Hair is super soft and smooth, feels very moisturized, and don’t have that dry feeling on hair. *loves*
Of course, after swimming, you will need extra TLC on your hair, so I usually slab on some of this, and let it sit on while I wash my face and body, and then rinse it out. It smells a bit chemical like, funny though because the shampoo and conditioner from this range smells very mango like >_< Anyway, the smell isn't that horrible so I'm okay with it. It's beigy-white in colour, texture is creamy, but slightly to the watery side. Oh, it's quite easy to rinse out too! After rinsing, hair is even softer and smoother than using Joico Silk Result Shampoo! I love this very much because it's cheap and good albeit the smell.
I usually use this on days when I don’t go for swimming. Texture is creamier than Loreal Anti Breakage Mask and it’s beigy-white in colour. It’s highly moisturizing because you can feel the smoothness and softness right after you apply on your hair. It’s just right for normal daily use since I have slightly dry ends and thick hair. If you have fine limp hair or an oily scalp, you might want to avoid using too much of this, because of it’s moisturizing properties. A big heart from me!

can u even see the mirror wit so much cosmetics around?

Hi!
Cosmetics are kept nicely, so it never obstructs the mirror.
May I know who are you?

I wash my hair twice too! XD
With 2 different shampoo, first with Clear (cuz of my oily scalp), another one is Schwarzkopf’s Color Save shampoo (dry ends). Works great.
But I do that on everyday basis though.

Hi chian li!
Me wash my hair twice everytime, and three times if I go swimming
Clear is too strong for me >_< Can't use, my hair gets even drier. Huhu~
Schwarzkopf is good, especially for dry hair. I’m using their moisture kick leave in condtioner, the spray kind. Will write a review of it later. Too many other post lying in drafts.
And thanks for stopping by!

Hello cherrystar
If drugstore brand, Loreal Elseve range is the best!
Tresseme dries my hair, Dove and VO5 also dries them up.
If Loreal Elseve don’t work for you, then you can try out Rejoice range, they are pretty good too.
Sunsilk is okay but after using them a while it doesn’t work on my hair anymore, so I stop using them.
If you can afford, can try Sebastian, Schwarzkopf, Keratase Loreal Liss Extreme or Joico, these are quite good in my opinion.
Hope you have shiny and healthy hair all the way!
Thanks for stopping by!

hi plue
haha i wash my hair twice like chian li, once for scalp (Sunsilk clean and fresh), and once for dry hair (Schwarzkopf bonacure repair rescue).
yea sunsilk kinda stop working for me too..so i am thinking of clean & clear for my scalp.. have tried JS deep cleansing tonic shampoo, maybe i’ll try it again
Hmm I have never tried Rejoice! I don’t know where can I get Sebastian, Keratase Loreal Liss Extreme or Joico products..where did you get them? I got my Schwarzkopf Bonacure shampoo and conditioner from a friend who could get it cheaper from her aunt..
Oh by the way, I am using Schwarzkopf Osis+ magic gloss anti-frizz serum, works well for me
I got it from a shop near vincci in sg wang, they sell Schwarzkopf products quite cheaply.. Of course there are other brands.
I was thinking of trying Loreal Elseve range too. cuz my hair develops “tolerance” quite fast, means something that worked for me would stop working after a while, so even though my Schwarzkopf products were good, i need to change them now…
looking forward to your Schwarzkopf moisture kick leave in conditioner review!
thanks for your advice

hi darling!
for Sebastian, Keratase Loreal Liss Extreme or Joico products you can try getting them at either saloons, or from beauty-shops in Sg. Wang. But if you are staying around PJ/Subang area, you can try W3 in Subang Parade. His prices are very very reasonable!
For the Schwarzkopf Osis+ magic gloss anti-frizz serum, how much did you bought it? Kinda interested in it, hehe!
For your hair developing tolerance, it might be product buildups on your hair. try a residue cleansing shampoo maybe once every fortnight. Not sure what brand carries it, but I think saloon products might carry it. Last time Neutrogena and Tresseme has it, dunno now still got or not.
Hope this info helps you out!

Hello girls!
I only use Clear (Hair Fall Control) on my scalp. It does a good job in preventing hair fall. Cuz washing hair twice usually causes a lot of hair fall to me.
And oh, I don’t like Tresemme too. Tried their shampoo and conditioner for dry hair. It makes my hair fall like crazy. Plus, the shampoo is stripping moisture out of my hair
Well, I found a shop in Summit selling Schwarzkopf products cheaply too!
As for anti-frizz serum, I find Bain de Terre not bad =)
[Reply]
Bain de Terre is good huh?
i haven tried it, but will check out!
what shop in Summit? i’ll go check out!
i’m a shopaholic~~~

yeap! At least it suits me. my hair ends are more conditioned after long term use of it.
But one thing is, you have to use quite a lot of it if you have thick and long hair. The instruction says we only need 2-5 drops. However, I usually use about 10 sen amount of it. Cuz I like my hair to feel/seem moist.
I think it’s either at the 1st or 2nd floor, one of the shops at the middle row. I only remember there are a few clothing shops nearby. Should be the 2nd floor. I’ll be going there soon to restock my serum too ^^

thanks chian li!
will go check out when got time
let me know the price of ur serum ya~~~ hehe~

Hm I bought my first one at Shins, it was 40 over. 42 or 43 after 15-20% discount.
At the little shop in Summit, it was only 37 or 38
One of my hairstylists recommended Kerastase’s serum for my dry ends, the orange one. It’s quite pricey, RM7x if I’m not mistaken. Do check that out too if that’s within your budget =)
[Reply]
wow, quite a difference on the price! will definitely head over to summit to check it out!
i heard of kerastase serum, the oleo relax right? pricey ler… >_< but i only heard good reviews bout it, nothing bad.
will try out once my hair products are finished. currently having too many dy!
[Reply]
yep i use kerastase oleo relax serum (the lighter version). the biggest plus pt is tt is smells heavenly, and it really does soften n smoothen my hair damaged frm straightening. but not too much of a improvement in terms of shine though.

Hello Shin,
Hm… I have tonnes of serum and stuff to use, so I think Kerastase will have to wait a bit.
And the price is not really friendly >_< Sigh~
[Reply]
Yar i agree it’s freaking expensive. But cos i had really bad hair ends, all the frizz and split-ends but i cldnt bear to chop off my long hair which i painstakingly grew (longest end at my waist).
the purchase bombed a hole in my wallet. but u’ll be surprised by the results it can give (:
[Reply]
Hi Shin,
Might try it once I finish my hair stuff. For now, I’ll stay with my TBS serum first
Thanks for your input ya!
