I am so proud of myself lately.
Really! And I think Connie would be too! Well, she is! LOL.
I got up a bit earlier, not very much actually, say 10 to 15 minutes earlier just to get simple makeup done. When I say simple, it means no eyeshadow, no eyeliner and no mascara. I don’t even curl my lashes.
But… I do put on foundation/ BB cream and some blush! And maybe a lippie if I feel like it.
Weird right to have no eyeshadows/ eyeliner and mascara if I am wearing base makeup? Well, I am used to it. And I tend to rub my eyes. I know it’s bad, but it’s a habit.
So am reviewing some blushes today!
Pop Beauty!
I am telling you girls, they are OH-SO-GORGEOUS!
The colours are pretty true to the pictures shown here, so I’m not going to go into details about the colour. But rest assured, though the darker colours might scare you, but fear not, it’s really sheer! It just give you a hint of colour, so don’t worry if you are super pale or fair.
The colours are rather warm, and carries a little bit of orange, just like it’s description.
Blush Cake – Natural In Nudes
Especially designed for golden, tanned & deeper sin tones. Playful orange based hues for a brightening effect. Swirl brush all over colors for the perfect pop of apricot.
5 stripes of cheek color – and each one has 5 tonally correcting colors designed to warm your complexion. Brings your face alive!! Triple milled & micro pulverized for super smooth, delicate and luxurious texture. Maximum silkiness, making the powder look like real skin.
Velvet Mango, Creamy-Peach, Warm Nude, Tanned Rose, Glowing Bronze
Honestly, when I swirl my brush over all of the colours, it gives my cheek a light hint of golden apricot colour. Very summery, very fresh yet girlie. I feel that for a sunny day outing, this could be the perfect blush for me! It’s kinda matte, but I think it has very subtle shimmer? Very very very subtle shimmer, if I may say so. So subtle that it goes nearly matte, but gives you a radiant glow. Lovely.
Cheeky Cake – Beach Beauti
Be a true Beach Beauti with this moisturizing duo. One sheer bronzer for all over and one pop color for the apples of your cheeks.
A perfectly paired bronze and blush duo – an all over sheer bronzer with matching blusher for the apples of your cheeks, both in a silky-sheer powder formulation that gives any complexion a warm glow.
bronze & soft peach
Though the bronzer looks like a dirty brown, it’s not. It’s rather sheer and contours beautifully. I am not kidding. I do have a partial FOTD to demonstrate it
It’s very natural on me, like there’s nothing on my face! No sign of muddiness or darkness and patchiness! Then my sister commented.
Jie, why your face looks like it’s a bit more sharper ah?
The utter delight to hear this!
The magic of this bronzer!
Ooh! I love this!
The blush colour is a sweet peach pink colour, very sheer too. Gives you a nice flush that blends well with the bronzer. The blush duo is sheerer than the other stripe blush in my opinon, but then it’s rather forgiving if you are new to contouring or if you are the heavy handed kind. It’s like a double edge sword, depending on how you view it.
I don’t have much to complain except for 1 thing. The packaging. The tin packaging is easily scratch, it’s rather soft which means it’s easily dented, if there’s such a word, and I find it a little hard to open. >_<
I would and definitely will buy backups of this blush duo! It’s just so lovely! And the stripe blush? Well, I would buy it again, but if comparing the love between both, I still favour the blush duo more!
FOTD! *half face done only*
this is with flash. sorry for the blank look.

under natural light. notice half of my face is a little more sharper than the other?
