Hello darlings! I’m back from Hanoi!
A little bit darker, a little bit crazier and a little bit poorer. >_<
Anyway, here’s the post I promised!
I present you…
I’m telling you girls, if you can, go get this!
Seriously, it’s HG stuff!!! (For those who don’t know what HG means, it means Holy Grail)
Retailing at a price below RM50 (i’m not too sure already), it’s quite cheap! Because the amount you use is just a pea size, and looking at the amount of it in the lovely peachy colour jar, I think you can use it for a long long time, even if you makeup everyday!
See the little dent on the right side of the jar? I just scoop a little and I still find it slightly too much for my face, so I guess you really need a small amount to work on, and then scoop a little bit more if it’s not enough. I think the most you need is maybe a peanut size dollop of it.
And it comes with a little spatula for you to scoop up what you need! No need to dip your fingers! Lovely!
The base is a light peachy colour that goes on slightly whitish on the face. So I don’t think it’s a good base colour for girls with really tanned or dark skin, might be too light for them. Anyone with fair or slightly medium skin tone should be able to get away with it though. It also has a light hint of peach scent, not something for people who prefers unscented stuff.
But the smell fades quite quickly.
Upon application, your skin feels matte, I mean really matte, no oil or anything, just soft and smooth, which is a delight! Pores are less visible too. Before using this, warm it up a little on the back of your hand so it’s easier to blend. I notice with this base, my blusher shows up better and last a bit longer than usual. It might be because of the Peach Skin Pact which i will be reviewing it later, but then again, I think the base helps hold them longer and with the Skin Pact, it goes on even longer! And yes, it does help on the oil control.
My face was slightly shiny when I use the base, and without blotting it off, I apply it straight away and my shinies are almost gone!
Is this on my re-purchase list? A definite YES! I can’t find anything to dislike or hate, but absolutely adore every bit of it! No wonder Isabella loves it!

Hey Plue, how was your weekend cum holiday in Hanoi? Did u manage to visit the Etude there? Can’t wait to see your photos!
Weekend was superb but tiring. Went down to the IT fair in Suntec City. It’s one the biggest and most anticipated electronics fair held every year. The best bargains are to be found during this time! It was super crowded and my poor feet got the worse beating from walking in the 4 floor of exhibition hall sourcing for the best bargain to suit my needs!
Yeah heard about the raves for this from Izzy. Is this those silicone bases? I love silicone bases. Perfect in water-proffing and holding on to our makeup with weather like S’pore.
I’m so jealous that there’s a Etude House in M’sia :p I wish they would come to S’pore soon! Would check it in the next drive up.
Anyway, for the peach collection of makeup, are they only LE sumer 08 collection or going to be in the permanent line-up?

Hi Gracie,
No… I didn't get to visit Etude there >_< Time was short and I can't find the area…
I need to get a new PC soon, waiting for the PC fair
Hehe~
If I am not mistaken, it is a sillicone base, but I will need to check whether is the ingredient list in English or not. I can't read korean!
From the looks of it, it looks like a permanent lineup, though I am not too sure.
I sure hope it is!
cheers,

Hey!
Do you think it could be suitable for dry-sensitive skins?
First time visiting your blog! Loved the review
Hugs!

Hello!
I’ve been reading your blog for quite a while and I love it! ^_^
Thanks for the compliment dear!
Hm… I don’t think I can recommend this for dry-sensitive ladies, as it’s really matify your skin and i’m quite worried that it will dry out your skin. I think it contains sillicones too, hence the matifying bit.
But I think if yours is not overly dry or too sensitive, you can give this a shot. Or maybe try and get some samples? Korean skincare/MU are generous with samples, generally.
And thanks for dropping by!

I have only one question..
Does the Pore Erasing Base clogs pores? o_O
I know it’s silicone-based but not all silicone clogs pores. I used TBS Skin Boost and it didn’t clog my pores or give me breakouts.
I want to get the base.. along with the Skin Pact.

Hello Irene,
So far I have been using it without any problems
No clogged pores or anything.
But I can’t say will it be the same for your skin though. As long as you remove it well, it should not be a problem.
Thanks for dropping by!
cheers,
