Although I am super busy with work lately, but I never fail to remind myself that at the end of the day, I still need to unwind and relax.

And shopping is the way to go! :P

A parcel that arrives on Tuesday, in the midst of my crazy workload. >_< It did brighten my day a little. :D

Opening the envelope, the seller wrap my little item in a very cute wrapping paper! Lovely! And she gave me a piece of mask for free!

Do note that this is the old packaging :) The name loosely translated in English would be Scheming Beauty Green Tea With Barley Extract Whitening And Soothing Pimple Mask. Long name. :P

Open up the cute wrapping paper, and here’s what I got!

Sana Nameraka Soybean Isofrabon Medicated Emulsion

A bloody hell of a long name, but in short, it’s an emulsion that contains soybean extract and arbutin. Arbutin is well known for its whitening properties, while soybean extract whitens and also retain moisture for the skin. Both of this are then combined to help create fair, radiant and well moisturized skin. Lovely combo, you bet!

I used this for 5 days, whitening part is very subtle, maybe I’m already at my fairness maximum stage, but then again time is too short to tell, will update my thoughts when I finish the whole bottle, but for now I can talk about the texture and other stuff first. :P

Now, this is an emulsion, so it’s pretty much like a liquid-fy version of creams. It’s slightly oilier than the gels, but not as oily or heavy as creams :) It’s creamy white in colour, and has a light to almost non-existent scent. Sniffing it a little closer, it smells flowery. But if you are not really sensitive to smells, it’s practically fragrance free!

I usually pour about a 50 cent coin or somewhat that amount into my palms or the back of my hands and warm it a little. Then I slab them onto my face and gently massage it in. It’s a little oily ans sticky even after massaging, and I don’t really enjoy that. >_< However, I notice that after 10 to 15 minutes, my face feels quite matte and smooth! Maybe the emulsion needs time to sink into my skin. :D

And the best part?

My skin is soft and supple and not as oily the next morning! Regardless of whether I slept in air-conditioned room or with the good old table fan on!

Definitely did not break me out, and I quite like this stuff. I counted by the quantity and the price, in fact it’s cheaper than Loreal Hydrafresh Aqua Gel Essence!

The only thing that ticks me off, it’s not available here >_<

And oh, I got this from Poby. Her link can be found on the left sidebar under the Trusted Sellers list. :)

By the way, just for your information, the emulsion’s chinese name is either 豆乳美肌嫩白乳液 or 豆乳熊果素嫩白乳液.

I will be repurchasing this, but I have another brand I would like to try out. :D So, we’ll see how it goes! But this is definitely something I will consider using over and over again!

Thanks Plue! Oooh chinese, don’t think http://www.jbtalks.cc is suitable for me (banana) ;) . Anyways I googled for Magicboo after reading Yukaeshi’s comment. Magicboo’s a beauty mart and it has a few branches in KL and one of them is in Sg Wang. I think I’ll take a peep when I’m there *grins*

Hi Plue, Sasa in M’sia doesn’t sell this? I’ve seen this in Sasa S’pore. John Little and recently last month, Watsons S’pore has brought in lots of Sana products including this.

I like this as well. Tried a sample of this and thinking of purchasing a bottle of this when my ZA future defense emulsion is used up. :)
