Freshel White C Whitening Essence
I promised Liv, a reader that a review for this essence will be up this week, and here it is!
I have been wanting to review this last week, but I kept putting it off, due to my greater interest in other things *hint: new makeup brand in Watsons!* So sorry for those who had waited
Anyway, back to main topic.
I loved Neutrogena Fine Fairness Serum and will continue to love it because it’s a really nice product! But, we can’t get it here locally, so I will have to part with it for a while and find something else to use until I can get my hands on it.
And Sasa was having sales at that moment, and I manage to nab this essence instead.
Super cheap okay! ^_^ I feel like a champion if I manage to buy things cheaper than usual
This is not a product that produce miracles instantly. I repeat. This is not a product that produce miracles instantly. Understand? Good, now you may read on.
This is something that I have used for like a month or so already, and the effects are quite subtle. So if you are looking for something that can alter your skintone, check somewhere else. This isn’t meant for you.
To start off, my skintone has been quite even ignoring the fact I have freckles, and overall I am considered slightly fairer and skin looking more radiant after using a whole bottle of Neutrogena Fine Fairness Serum.
I stop using any serums or essence once for a week after I finish Neutrogena’s, and my skin slowly lost its radiance. I was having quite a hectic week and stress was there, so I guess without enough sleep and support from a whitening essence, skin is not looking good. And so I started including this new whitening essence into my skincare routine.
Slowly, my skin is going back to the state of it being nice and radiant
I have not been any fairer, I doubt I will be, since I think that’s the fairest I can go
But ignoring that, it does improve my skin and I look brighter overall.
It’s easy to spread, creamy to the touch, but it’s not oily nor leave a sticky film on your face. It’s absorption rate is pretty good I would say, I don’t need to massage long time on my face just to make sure it has been absorb. 4 dots each on the forehead, cheeks and chin, and you are good to go!
And this doesn’t sting on the face
So girls with sensitive skin can try I guess. But still, always do a test patch first before putting on full face!
Is this on my repurchase list? Of course! I bought one already for a backup!
Until I get bored of this or it’s no longer functioning on me or I have something better OR I can get my hands on Neutrogena’s, I will continue to use this
I hope the review has helped you, Liv! ^_^

I have seen this somewhere, but not in my country for sure! You are right about serums, they don’t show results instantly but they do in the long run!

Maybe in Hong Kong? I bought this from Sasa, so might be selling there too
And yeah, serum is a great addition to the skincare routine, but not a must. Normal moisturizer is too light, the richer one is too rich. So serum is good for me

I have always wanted to try this out because it has many positive reviews. But I got to peek at its ingredient list once and saw that it contains alcohol. I instantly put it back to the counter lol because my skin just cannot tolerate alcohol well. Too bad argh! Got to search for something without alcohol =(

aww… that’s a bit bad then.
most JP products contain alcohol. but this don’t smell of alcohol neither it felt like it has in its ingredients
thanks for pointing this out ya! would be good for those who can’t take alcohol too!
