Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser

As I mentioned in my previous post, I usually use Pure & Mild White Brightening Cleansing Foam in the mornings when I get out of bed and I use another cleanser before I go to bed. And this is where Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser comes in!

I’ve used this cleanser, like 2 or 3 of it? And never got bored of it. Why? The reason’s simple, it’s cheap, widely available, and does the job perfectly well!

As the name indicated, it’s a deep cleansing cleanser, which is good, because I have combination to oily skin, and needs the extra boost of deep cleansing for my blackhead prone skin. >_< Grr... I hate blackheads! Anyway, I have my way of getting rid of it, it's slow, but well, it works. Another post for that!

Anyway, back to this, it has a light scent, I’m not too sure what scent it smells like, but definitely not something smelly and yucky! It’s a creamy white paste, when mixed with water, it becomes very foamy. Lovely I would say!

Cleanses really well, skin is left feeling very clean, I think it’s a little dry, but it’s acceptable. It’s a deep cleansing cleanser that’s suppose to get rid of the gunk and dirt and oil from your face, so of course it’s a bit drying! Load up on mosturizing toner and moisturizer and everything will be just fine. :)

I use this at night because I feel that it’s slightly stronger than
Pure & Mild White Brightening Cleansing Foam and would clean the skin better. Pure & Mild White Brightening Cleansing Foam is a bit mild so it’s best left for morning use, since your skin isn’t dirty from the dirt and air from the outside world, unless you tell me your room and bed are infested with yucky stuff?

Anyway, it’s claim of oil control I think it’s doing just fine, nothing to scream about, but the super clean feeling you get is unbeatable. I’ve tried so many other cleansers that claims to give a clean and refreshing feeling, but failed miserably at that. Will blog about it later. :)

Not recommended for people with dry or sensitive skin, as I mentioned earlier this is a bit drying. :) But I think it’s good for people who have oily skin like me, as it really cleanses well. Oh, I never have any break out from using this.

A recommended purchase and repurchase! :D

  9. ahhaa let me know what you think about it ya!
Probably it will be more suitable as your morning cleanser ;)

I’m looking for a toner, any recommendations? Hm, I’ll like something affordable, which I’ll not feel pain using it to soak my cotton pads to mask my face ;)
preferably something that whitens and hydrates.
hmm am i asking too much? lol.

  10. the smell is quite okay, i think i'll be getting it, but have to wait till i really finish my old one, if not i use the new one n forget the old one. :P

ur not asking for too much, i am looking for something like tat, which is hard to get. >_<

my toner is usually hydrating base, since i think it's a bit useless in making skin goes fairer, i usually invest more in serums/essence and moisturizers :)

but i think i can recommend pure & mild whitening toner, it's not too bad, cheap + it works! :D

the bottle's in my hometown, so i can't do a review without a proper pic >_< i hate that. haha~

i think I won't be using this for a while, I'm kinda bored with it, though I am pleased with it's performance. Might consider going back to Clean & Clear, but I having my thoughts on Mandom, but it's hard to get!

  14. yeah i know mandom, i used it during my secondary school days. loved it. not sure if we’re talking about the same cleanser though. the one that i had was a very basic one. I think it disappeared for quite some time. don’t think it’ll suit me now.

  17. hi there!
i've never used mandom before, although i've seen them quite frequently on the shelf.

but it's quite nice, and as with japanese stuff, they keep changing the formula >_<

so if u like something, better stock up b4 they phased it out or change the formula! :P

i notice it's harder to get mandom now >_< aih~ i never like it when something i like is hard to get…

    and thanks for dropping by!

    cheers,
