It Was A Lovely Saturday!

Saturday was so much fun for me!

I hadn’t had such good shopping experience for a long long time, and it’s not only about makeup this time, but other stuff to! :D

To start off my Saturday (it’s gonna bore you a while, but it’s worth reading till the end!), I rearrange my makeup and skincare items, thanks to Paris’ post which inspire me, but lazy me just did half of what I should be doing and the rest, well, it’s a work in progress all the time anyway. :P

So after that I showered and use some new stuff which I will be blogging about sometime later and head out for lunch. Yums for my yummy but oily fried pan mee! It’s a noodle dish but not sure how to say it in proper English. :D

And then off I went for shopping. Not for makeup or skincare (I have new ones and am using!), but for tops for casual & work, slacks and shorts and shoes because mine died on me. My most feet friendly pair died on me. Both of them. :(

And I got new ones! I’ll update with pictures later :)

After that I went to Sunway Pyramid, thanks to Bee’s tip on TBS Love Truck. Snag myself a delicious Raspberry and Peach shower gel, and Pomegranates for Jenn. But sigh, they only have this 3, nothing else. :( I wonder if I should go get a Pomegranate too? I got myself a pair of fitting shorts n a lovely dress at 50% off too at a shop in Sunway! How cool is that!

Anyways.

Here’s the real stuff you would want to know.

If I am in Sunway, I never forget to go see Selina of Shu Uemura, and really, this time is super worth it! Of course with my new pretty eyebrows :D She’s marvellous!

Shu Uemura Holiday Collection 2009 by Tsumori Chisato!!!

It’s so cute, so pretty that I dropped my jaw the moment Selina took it out to show me. And I am the first customer to see AND touch these babies in Sunway! :D :D :D Am mighty proud! Haha!

I have a tiny swatch for you guys and close up pics. And I love the lighting in Shu Uemura, it makes photo taking so much easier, and not the mention the swatches and colours are 99% close to real life! :D By the way, I didn’t swatch everything, just only the ones I am interested in :)

Aren’t they pretty? I have already reserved my item, guess which I want! No prize for guessing it right though!

I know some of you might wanna know why isn’t the brush set or vanity pouch featured here, well sweeties, because Sunway haven’t received them yet :( I do want to see them too, but oh well, I don’t quite have the luck. Selina told me Planet Cat is very popular and customers are already calling in the reserve them, I can quite see why because it’s a lovely smokey palette just right for Christmas or any other day, but Planet Ribbon a little trickier to use, don’t think it flatters all skintones s well as Planet Cat.

By the way, Selina used the Nobara Cream Cover Foundation Stick on me and I’m happy to report that for the 6 hours (and still counting!), the foundation is still looking good without much oxidization! Oil control is pretty weak, but that can be fixed with a oil control makeup base :) By the way, my shade is matched to 564. I have a mix of yellow and pink undertones, that makes me peachy shade, 7 would be a tad too yellow for me so she chose 5 for me since I can take in a bit more pink than yellow, and chose the lightest colour of the 5 series in Malaysia. Oh so I actually am that fair huh? :P I do have an FOTD to share, but that’s in another post.

A little info to share: numbers starting with 5 means it have a pink base, 7 neutral yellow while 9 is yellow. The middle numbers, according to her, the bigger the number, the brighter/lighter the colour is. The last digit don’t mean anything, or so she said.

I dropped by Shins because I remember reading this.

Mina November issue wrote that Shills is now available in Sasa and Shins and also on the online store Queen Star. But oh dear, the prices are ridiculously high! Very much more expensive than what you can get from online forums! But one thing to bear in mind that is you don’t need to wait for your things to arrive in the mailbox or worry about it’s authenticity. But still, do you want to pay for RM65 for the Brightening Primer when you can get it around RM40+?

Not me, sweeties.

Am blabbing more later. Need to sort out the FOTD pics and my hauls. Buahahahahaha.
